Great shop if you are looking for the Volvo repair. I brought my 2018 XC90 Volvo here for 40K miles service. Completed everything on time as promised and reset the computer. Also washed the car as the Volvo dealers do, but everything is for about 30% less. Strongly recommended.

Recently, after a seven-hour drive from SF to LA, my S80 3.2 needed an emergency repair. After arriving at my hotel, and after-hours for the shop, I called Action Volvo and Freddy answered. I explained my problem. He rearranged his schedule, and made time for an evaluation the next morning. He was able to correctly diagnose the issue on arrival, effected the repair, and had my vehicle back to me (washed!) by noon. Freddy was thoughtful, communicative, efficient, and trustworthy. Hands down, this was the best repair experience I have had in decades. I only wish his shop was in the Bay Area!

Freddie is great. Very friendly, straight up with you, fair priced. I'll be taking my Volvo wagon to him from now on for sure.

Brought my XC40 here for standard oil change. No frills. Freddy was able to get it done when he said he would. Straightforward pricing. Less expensive of course than bringing it to the dealer.

I have 2 Volvos, 2007 XC90 and a 2013 XC90 respectively. Freddy has been taking care of both my XC90s for the last 10 years. I've taken my XC90s to the dealership and other independent Volvo mechanics who have always made me pay an arm and a leg for false diagnoses. Freddy has always been professional, honest and very knowledgeable about everything Volvo especially XC90s because he owns a few. I've taken my XC90s to Action Volvo and Freddy will take care of the problem in less than 10mins. I'm in and out of the shop in under 20mins. There are days when the problem is a bit complicated but, Freddy always came through for my XC90s. I think his wife maybe upset with him because I always hug him out of sheer joy and thankfulness for taking great care of my XC90s. At Action Volvo, my XC90s are in good and honest hands. I'll only trust Freddy from Action Volvo to take care of my XC90s

It can very challenging to find a good mechanic, but I can assure you that Freddy at Action Volvo is one. I don't know anything about cars, so to have someone who I can trust to provide exceptional, timely, and affordable service is something I looked for when finding a mechanic. All of those traits and more is what I've found in Freddy. Freddy has been my mechanic for years, and there is nobody else I would rather have work on my car. He has gone above and beyond for me over years, from changing my oil for free when I got my brakes fixed to calling a tire store down the road to get me an amazing discount on tires after mine started to bald. My car has been on the road since 2005, and thanks to Freddy, my car will continue to be on the road for years to come. He is simply the best, and I cannot thank him enough. If I could rate more than five stars, I would.

If I could give Freddy 6 stars, I would. My 2014 S60 just stopped working.... I had to have the engine pretty much re-built! He said he had never quite seen anything like what I had done to my car. Freddy had my car for over two weeks. When I got it back, it was like a brand new. This guy knows his craft inside and out, up and down. If you want your Volvo serviced by the best, go see Freddy at Action Volvo.... He will not disappoint. If you're lucky, he may even give you a loaner while your car is being worked on!

Freddy at Action Volvo is the best! I've been taking my Volvo S40 here for years and he always fair and honest. He is an expert in all things Volvo. Every issue (electrical, mechanical, etc) he has been able to fix with in a day. I'll be holding on to my car for years to come and Freddy will be my mechanic. I highly recommend!

My 2012 Volvo C70 died in my driveway on a Tuesday afternoon. I tried starting it several times and not even a click. I knew it wasn't the battery as was just a year old and all the lights on the dash worked fine. I suspected it needed a new starter and I knew that I needed a new repair shop to have the car towed to for the needed repairs. To have your car towed to someone you don't know to repair it, is intimidating to say the least. I called and Freddy said to have it towed in the next morning and that his shop was able to work on it. I had it towed in and met with Freddy who pointed out that my car had more problems than not starting. The timing belt was worn and I know that if/when it breaks it could cause serious damage to the engine and if you can even find a used Volvo C70 engine they are very expensive. It also needed front brakes, and a new multi ended hose for the radiator as it had a leak and was leaking a small amount of coolant, plus its 67,500 mile service was going to be due in a few hundred miles. I agreed to have all the work done right then instead of waiting for the scheduled service interval. The starter and engine hose were replaced along with a new timing belt, front brakes and an oil/filter change and lube. I got my car back as soon as he could get the new starter and install it. When my husband and I picked up the car on Monday, Freddy showed me everything that he had done and explained everything. I'm a gearhead girl at heart and I really appreciated him showing me the parts that he had replaced. All in all I could not be happier with the work done on my cute little car and the price I paid was more than fair and I'm sure it was much less than I would have spent at the stealer (dealer). I will not take my precious Volvo to any other mechanic for service - ever! Freddy is now my new mechanic and I am thrilled. Way to go Action Volvo!

I starting taking my cars to Action Volvo in 2014 and I never looked back. Whether you own a Volvo or any car for that matter, I doubt you will find a most honest, knowledgeable and organized car shop in the valley. The service is top notch, the prices are reasonable and most of all the entire experience is pleasant and very friendly. And most importantly, any time I needed service or when my car had issues, the problem was fixed - one and done. I never had to bring the car back or any of the BS that happens so often in other shops.

One thing that everyone wants and needs but can't find is a good mechanic. I don't need to search anymore because I found Action Volvo. I have been going to see Freddie, owner operator of Action Volvo, for a few years and he honest, dependable, and his prices are very fair. Another shop told me I needed to replace my rack and pinion system, $1400. Action Volvo found the problem and fixed it for $400. Action Volvo is fantastic.

Great Volvo repair shop! Freddy really knows his stuff. He does good work and he's pretty creative about finding solutions that aren't so pricey. Also like it when a mechanic actually shows you what was screwed up with the part that wasn't working. Thanks for the great service Freddy. And for taking it easy on my wallet!

Went in for a check engine light.(Backstory: Drove down from Washington state and the CEL came on mid-journey. I stopped at a parts store and they scanned the car and told me I needed an O2 sensor.)I call Action Volvo, they tell me to bring in the car whenever. I drop it off first thing Monday morning. I tell them what I was told at the parts store. He didn't seem very happy that I already knew what the code was for (I didnt mind paying for a diag fee FYI) After not hearing anything all day, I called and was told to come get my car now because the light wouldn't go off after the repair. When I went to pick up the car, a very young guy (teenager-aged) told me they replaced the part (a $240 part) and it didn't fix it. He brought the car out and said there was an electrical issue. I was confused because they didn't ask me to pay, even after I brought it up. They wasted no time trying to get me out of their lot and gone.I just took my Volvo to another spot and you'll never guess, there was no repair done on the car at Action and there also wasn't an electrical issue.I wouldn't recommend this place based off the curt, very unhelpful experience I had.
