I had the pleasure of working with Nadi to open a high yield savings account, and I'm thoroughly impressed. Her knowledge about interest rates was exceptional, and she provided prompt and efficient service. Nadi made the entire process seamless. Thank you for the excellent assistance!

Citibank stoled my money!Do a favor yourself and get any other bank for your checking account. I asked a cashier check from my other bank because I thinked that is the fastest way to move money to my Citi checking account. I deposited my check, Citi transfered it right at that moment and they closed my online acces and my account! Some incompetent employee made maybe some mistake. I do not have acces to my 60k more then 2 months! Nobody helped in the branch office, not online. Absolutely no answer or explanation. They told me I never ever will be able to open anymore a Citi accont and they handling me like a criminal. I have proof from my other bank, Citi holding my money and doing some investigation just because someone made some stupid . I am not sure If I ever will see my money without a lawsuit. Unfortunately banks has too much right to do whatever they just want without any control. I wanted to use that monu to make purchesis to my busines. Shame on you Citi bank big time. Probably they just laughing on this review because they can do anything The only stange is they refused any help from me and my other bank!Think twice before you open an account at probably the worst US bank. I think my case if anyone is made mistake could be cleared within minutes just the willingness is missing.Best:Steve V

Horrible. One customer service person for an entire bank on Tuesday. We waited 30 min while she was with one customer. We left and probably won't come back to this location

Closing account after opening it just a week ago! My wife opened the account for us at the Tarzana Citibank last week. A few days later we noticed they spelled her name wrong on all the paperwork. We called to get it corrected and "Darin" identified himself as the customer support person. Darin was impolite and he was annoyed that we called to ask for advice to fix their error. He hung up without offering to help. He actually hung up on us as we tried to ask a couple of questions. Then we called to speak with someone else at the branch and got only voicemail; still have not received any call back from anyone at that branch. Weird. Hard to believe a big bank like this would have such terrible customer service. Citibank goodbye! We'll try one of the local credit unions where I've heard they are helpful and not so rude as they are at Tarzana Citibank.

Left word three times - a month ago - for the manager and was assured each time she would call me back. The manager "PATTY" has yet to return a call to discuss the disgraceful way her employees handled in person customers. Shameful.

Citibank misleads customers and ploys to deceive customers by promising giving bonus of 700 dollars if you open a savings account of at least 50K to 99K something after 120 days. In fact it says after 90 days of opening the account you get your bonus. It is a shame for such a big financial establishment to engage in this type of deception. I opened my account (new customer) 3rd week of April at the Tarazana, CA branch and this bank teller named Mina was the one who processed my account. Yesterday, Oct. 7, I received my bank statement and it did not show any bonus deposited into my account after over 150 days. It showed a total of 7 dollars interest in over 150 days. It's not even easy to call them because no one picks up the phone at the branch and call center answers the phone from ouside the country most of the time. I spoke with the same person today who opened the account for me way back in April. She told me, I should have called so the bonus money would be deposited in my account last month. I told her I need to withdraw my money today or tomorrow and she said I have to wait for 3 to 4 business working days to be able to get the bonus money of 700 because she will request for it. Meaning, if I come there now to withdraw my money, I won't get my 700 dollars. I tried to access my account on line a couple of months ago but unsuccessful because their website is so antiquated and poorly put together (not at par with other banks) and when I TRIED TO REGISTER so I can log in, it kept on asking for my debit card number which I do not have ( it did not accept my account number or my EIN or SS) since this is a money market and I believe they never send debit card as they want to keep your money for their working capital. This is not a regular saving or checking but a business money market account but in this day and age it should be easy to register and log in to your bank account. Now, I have to wait for another 3 to 4 days to withdraw my funds and be able to get my 700 bonus. I was even planning to move some of my business accounts to Citibank later but that would never happen . It is just so embarrassing for such a big bank like CITIBANK to practice this way when it involves a small amount of money. SO TO YOU GUYS OUT THERE WHO RECEIVED A PROMO IN THE MAIL ABOUT THE BONUS OFFER WHEN YOU OPEN A SAVINGS ACCOUNT FOR A MINIMUM DEPOSIT OF 50K - BEWARE! It's not worth the aggaravation and your time.

This whole Branch managers are always on lunch and they get your information they say they will call you back and they don't. They also now no longer give you any coins back and they denied me a roll of quarters by one the tellers . She sits in the far left side of the branch . I will no longer do business with Citibank ever again

I made a deposit today and the tell Brenda didn't even say hello to me when I approached her at the window. She just gave me my deposit slip with no explanations as to when I could get my funds. I had to ask her. I told her thank you first and she barely told me thank you and didn't even tell me to have a nice day. Customer service needs to be improved at this location. I usually go to the Woodland Hills location and OMG they are super nice !

The absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered.. Kamelya Who is the "Empowered Teller" told me she was a supervisor needs to take a course in "How to treat the client". I needed a payroll check released (like I've done for the past 2 years at my branch) in Awesome Town "Valencia".. I simply asked Kamelya if she could release the funds she said No! I can't! I asked to speak with a Manager, she replied she's on vacation and no one else could help me but her! She also let me know that I could just take my check back if I wanted to go to B of A and have it cashed. Thank you for that, as if I wasn't aware of my options. We are suppose to help our customers and try to retain their business. We have many choices to go to and if I choose to go to this bank then ALL associates should be trained well.

Well, I thought long and hard about this review, as I absolutely hate to put down any business unless the experience was horrible. It is also complicated, because Citibank is a giant corporation, but there is no option on Yelp to write about Citibank in general, and this review is really pointed at Citibank, the Monster. Since all of us who dealt with Citibank belong to a branch, I must write this review under my branch where I belonged until last Friday. Yes we had to depart from Citibank after at least 15 years, because the experiences in the last 3 months or so were so bad, that I lost all confidence in this bank. I must clearly state that, this 2 star review is an average of the branch and online/over the phone experience. I give the branch a 5 star rating and -1 rating for Citibank. The average of this is 2. Sooooo, the Branch: I think location is great, I never had problem with parking. The staff was always nice, helpful and efficient. Pretty much what you expect from any teller at any bank. I've never dealt with any other employee here other than tellers. I rarely experienced long lines, but I mainly visited this branch during the day. The only negative I can say about the teller service is that, when occasionally the 2 available employees were held up by 2 complicated customers, (or rather their complicated problems), then the wait was more than it should've been. In these instances a manager should step in, and solve the complicated problem away from the main area, so other people in the line can be serviced. AND NOW THE MAIN REASON FOR THE BAD REVIEW: Since this is about banking and confidential, I can't go into great, great detail, but this is what happened. I changed 2 very important automatic payment details approx. 3 months ago. I followed the instructions and I TRIPLE checked every detail about these payments, and confidently thought that everything was in perfect order. Well Citibank sent each of the payments twice, following the old order, and the new, even though the old older should've been cancelled, wiped out. Bank employees could NOT explain why this happened afterwards, but did admit that, it was their error. Went over the auto payments with them over the phone, done..., good...., though this missing money from the account messed up the entire month's finances for us. Lots of time wasted with them on the phone. Not much of an apology from them either. Well, surprise, surprise, next month again, the same thing happened. The same EXACT thing! I thought I'm loosing my mind at that point. How is this possible with a national or global bank for God's sake??? I never ever felt this way about any bank at any time during my lifetime. Like you can't trust them, and that they are incompetent. Completely incompetent. Within days we opened another account at another bank already knowing we will switch, but we needed time to set things up. Before we could make this move "peacefully", last Friday a small transaction with Zelle prompted an unexplained fraud alert on the account which I could not solve wasting almost 4 hours (roughly and not continuously), dealing with 4 consecutive employees on the phone at one point, and going through extensive security verification with each one of them! Well guess what? They couldn't solve it, they couldn't figure it out. This was the first time, that I literally lost it on the phone with someone. I yelled at them and at one point just said, you know what, I can't do this, we are done here. After this last call, within minutes, we were in the car to close this account. It took less than 5 minutes at the branch where as I said before never had much problem. On the way out, my husband says, this was the easiest, smoothest transaction with Citibank ever. CONCLUSION, SUMMARY: Citibank is too large, their softwares have glitches and they don't even know about it. Their employees are not stupid, but simply not trained well in certain areas, and customers with problem

The banker Shiva should not be working there. I am hoping the citibank authorities will take action on these reviews. Shiva is not doing a professional work, on the other hand Mr. Kiarash is an excellent employee who is hardworking and try to help the customer. this lady goes around and talked behind my back, so when i walk in to the bank, i can see the changed attitude of other employees towards me. That is so embarrassing for Citibank to have an employee like her. Citibank should admire more employees like Kiarash whom with his hard work making a flawless job. another incident i was with customer service and tried calling in for Kiarash to help me, she put me on hold forever. PLEASE CITIBANK TAKE ACTION ON YOUR BAD EMPLOYEES AND REWARD GOOD EMPLOYEES LIKE KIARASH
