Terrible service. Communication is extremely poor; requires numerous calls to get a prescription filled. When they do deliver the prescriptions, it's been very late at night (after 10pm).

Last year Had a prescription that I needed badly, their delivery driver had contacted me directly that was going to deliver it after a few days had gone by dont know why, a few more days went by total a week and received my prescription, I called and complained to them and said I was changing pharmacies, a year went by and my doctor had again sent a prescription to them by mistake but First Care put it on hold for over 6 months and never let my doctor know that they no longer deliver to me. thanks First Care, BBB is next on my browser

I didn't want to believe other bad reviews until my wife and I experienced it ourselves. This pharmacy has some rude people. We had an urgent prescription and when we tried to get their help the pharmacist got frustrated and hung up on us. We ended up transferring our prescriptions to CVS. Needless to say, it is not our default pharmacy anymore.

Great service. When my insurance has not covered a medicine, they have helped me find subsidies !

First of all this review is a bit late but I felt it was important to let others know about my experience; I had my prescriptions transferred from dr. Ike's pharmacy automatically when they went out of business, my guess is first care bought their patients, the first time they delivered my medications, I was happy with them and I thought I had found a good pharmacy, when it was time for my medications to be refilled and I had received some new ones I was sure I had nothing to worry about, they had done a good job the first time, unfortunately things went down hill, I checked to see if they had received my new prescription and also to inquire about my refills, they assured me everyone was there and ready and that I would received my medications on time, when the third day was up I visited them and called from outside their store and notify a lady pharmacist that I was there and would pick up my medicine because they were a bit late and I was worried that I would run out of medicine, she dismiss me and said no go home the driver has your medicines and they'll be delivered today that was a Wednesday, I waited and nothing even waited all day Thursday, I called them again to ask them please let me pick up my medications I am not feeling well, I was told that they had no idea where my medications were because they had been given to one of the drivers since Tuesday, that was it for me, I called a different pharmacy that doesn't deliver and tried to transfer my medicines to them, first care decided they wanted to play games I had the other pharmacy on the phone and they called me to tell me they could go ahead and fill my medications I said no transfer them to the other pharmacy, they never transfer them and even made up that they had nothing to be filled that somehow I had no refills and there was nothing to be transferred, I called my doctor and she saved the day along with the new pharmacy they had my medicines ready on just a few hours, it's amazing how First Care pharmacy does not cares for their patients or is still in business behaving the way they do. Stay away from this place they don't care about you.

Small local pharmacy that is efficient and friendly. Found them through my dermatologist when I needed a prescription. Always prefer local small businesses.

These rude employees and Manager are the worst. At first I thought they were great because they took over all the patients from Dr Ike's pharmacy which closed without notice, but as time went on and the more I interacted with these folks the more I realized how rude, unprofessional and how horrible they treat human beings that are either in pain or need a life saving medication. It's a shame because I really like to support mom and pops.

WORST PHARMACY EVER. My prescription was sent here by my dermatologist and they told me it was a special prescription so I couldn't use my regular pharmacy. Honestly I wish I shopped around instead of taking his word for it. Matt, Ashley, Nona are all terrible at customer service. Need a lesson on how to talk to customers.

FirstCare has always been really good to me over the years. They are conveniently located right next door to my dermatologist, Dr. Pedram Ghasri and most of the time they are able to fulfill my prescriptions on the spot. If they don't have what I need they will order it and I usually get it a few days later. Their staff are always nice and helpful when answering any questions I may have. What I REALLY LOVE is that they also deliver directly to my home which is super convenient.

Rude, very unprofessional, thin spanish lady at pickup window on 2/1/23 had the nerve to tell me because my insurance didn't cover the cost of the cream, that "you can't afford it". Exact words! How crazy is that for someone to say to someone they know nothing about. So unprofessional, they need to train their employees better. There are a lot of pharmacy's in LA, we can go anywhere, they must not really care about keeping customers and having a successful business. Wake-up and do better!

They outright told me my prescription was not covered by my insurance. I thought this was strange so I had it transferred to another pharmacy, who told me it needed a prior authorization, that second pharmacy went through with the process and I was able to get my medication covered. Was Firstcare just too lazy to check? Not sure! Also they charge a fee for delivery even though they advertise free delivery. It’s not free if you have to pay a fee…

I went here once in early September and haven't had any contact since then. They charged my debit card today for a prescription that I no longer get there. The bank said that's a fraudulent charge and had to cancel my debit card...a replacement will not be here for 5 to 7 business days! DON'T allow them to keep your debit card on file if you don't want to get screwed like I did. Wow.

I was a patient for many years of Dr. Ike’s pharmacy, they closed and I was transferred to this pharmacy, the first prescription I filled with them, everything went great they even delivered it to my home, the second prescription and refills of my regular medications was a disaster, I saw my doctor on a Tuesday, I was aware that the latest my prescriptions would be delivered would be Wednesday, that day came and went and nothing, I called the pharmacy on Thursday morning I had no medications since Wednesday, the pharmacist I spoke with informed me my prescriptions had been given to the driver since Tuesday and to not call again, that they would be delivered soon, I mentioned I was there in the parking lot and needed my medicines to please provide me with an emergency supply, she said no go home it will be deliver today, Friday morning came and I was feeling super sick and called them again to my surprise they told me they couldn’t get a hold of the driver and had no idea where the driver or my medications where and until they got a hold of him they couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything for me , how can someone play with someone’s health like this, I don’t get why they took on so many patients and now they are overwhelmed, I transfer my prescriptions and they refuse to send my profile to the new pharmacy my doctor saved the day that’s how I was able to get my medications that Friday, I placed a complaint with the board of pharmacy, this is unprofessional and dangerous behavior specially when a person’s life is at risk.

This pharmacy has the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Gilbert (if that's his real name) and Matt (if that's his real name) are so very unprofessional. There's a way to speak with a customer, but this Gilbert made it very clear that he had no intention of being polite or helpful and Matt wasn't much better either. They don't care and it shows. Shame because a pharmacy is supposed to provide service and products to help make people feel better. One can only feel worse dealing with such rudeness. "Gilbert" told me that if I wanted the medication, I'd have to come and pick it up myself and when I asked, "what's the address", he said - "you can go look up the address yourself"!!I had to call two days in a row to get information on my prescription and there was rudeness galore. I told my doctor's office about it and they were very shocked that I was spoken to in such a terrible manner by a technician and pharmacist.Very disappointing that such people work in a place that's supposed to help people feel better!
