I think like in any other business if you have a bad manager the The whole business not functioning.You have been a few times that I got in needed to do a little thing and a manager was sitting in his office doing nothing or walking around, but I needed to come back to make an appointment in a few days to see him or one of the other associates.In a few other words The worst customer service you can get.

Title: Unresolved Issues and Lack of Accountability at First Citizens BankI have been deeply disappointed with my experience at First Citizens Bank, especially following the transition from One West Bank. My ongoing issue has revealed significant flaws in their customer service and internal processes.Firstly, attempting to contact a customer service representative has proven to be a Herculean task. Rarely does anyone pick up the phone, and when they do, it seems each representative is operating in their own silo. On three separate occasions, I received incorrect information regarding the same issue, leading to wasted hours on the phone.The crux of the matter lies in the bank's claim of an internal glitch with my credentials and the IRS after the ownership switch. Despite personally handing the W-9 form to a banker on two occasions, no corrections have been made, and my funds are being wrongfully withheld. Speaking with an IRS agent confirmed that my information is accurate and in good standing.What is most disheartening is the lack of responsibility taken by First Citizens Bank. No one seems willing to address the root cause of the problem or rectify the situation. Despite my efforts, the issue remains unresolved, and my funds inaccessible.In conclusion, my experience with First Citizens Bank has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I would caution anyone considering this bank to be aware of the potential pitfalls in their customer service and internal processes.

This bank is useless. Puts holds on checks drawn on their own bank ! ATM is a scam . Puts holds on everything and half the time cannot deposit a check because scanner is faulty . Waste of time if you need a serious bank .

Asiyeh Lorghaba in the Tarzana branch was helpful with an emergency situation. She patiently telephoned my original bank branch to personally make sure that a deposit wasn't lost and answered all of my many questions while handling the difficulties. The tellers have also been flawless at this branch for many years.

This bank never ever answers the calls. I have been calling them even during their business hours yet they never pick up the phone. How bizarre. A clear indication of customer service!??

COVID-19 hours are terrible. Monday-Friday 10am-2pm is not good for people who work. How about Tuesday-Saturday so people who work can actually come into the branch if needed for transactions?

The only reason I’m giving one star is because they won’t let you post a review with no stars! I went to the walk up atm on Ventura and the machine took forever to print my receipt and then never returned my card and they were already closed for the night so I have to go in the morning. I don’t have my card and I’m having to go into work late just to get my card back. I’m never using this bank again! Such a huge inconvenience and I’m losing money because of it!

Everyone at this branch is professional, courteous and helpful. Especially Gail Johnson who never seems to be too busy to help out a client. Truly a great bank and believe it or not, you can actually direct dial the branch to speak with a banker as opposed to speaking to someone at a call center. Love OWB and the staff.

I see several comments praising Gail Johnson so I figured I'd chime in as well ... Gail is a throwback to when customer service was tantamount to excellence! In these times there is a lack of thought and training when it comes to customer service and Gail's professionalism and sincere thoughtfulness for her customers is much appreciated as we see here in the positive feedback! Just switched from Bank of America and so far nothing special. You have to go inside for everything! They dont have a drive up atm and the one walk up atm they have still requires an envalope to deposit and it doesnt post immediately. I understand the whole small feel but get with the times as now everyone is all about technology. Update everything
