Anyone saying this place is awesome is not being truthful. They don't provide refunds because the place is a run down dump in my opinion. When we were there the room was FILTHY, had no running water, no heat and no working toilet. Happy to provide pictures and will be making a complaint to the BBB and the DCA.

I love this little out of the way place. It's fairly rugged in places but they have nice little private tubs with natural hot springs that are available all day when you are starting at the resort. They also have an outdoor pool and hot tubs.

If you love hot springs, this is a unique place you should visit. It's in a small town on the out skirts of Death Valley, in Tecopa, California. This is my 3rd time staying here, and the place is under new management. They have made it look brighter with new paint on the buildings, inside and out. They also added an outdoor swimming pool and more hooks to hang wet clothing and towels in the rooms. They have 4 private hot spring pools that are clothing optional. They range in temperature around 104 to 110 degrees. There is a 30-minute time limit for the private pools. If all the private pools are occupied, there is a nice waiting area with lounge chairs. If no one is out waiting, you can keep soaking. The outdoor pool is clothing required that is heated to 98 degrees. There are 4 hot tubs surrounding the outdoor pool that are about the same temps as the private pools. There are no time limits. There are a variety of sleeping arrangements, from mobile homes and cabins to camping. Our room was a cabin with a queen bed, a kitchenette with basic supplies, a full stove, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker. The bathroom only had a toilet and vanity. The only showers on the property were in the private pools. I wish they would change that. There is free Wi-Fi, but it really only works in the office area by the private pools and its spotty. You might get lucky in your room. Another thing I wish they would change. There are no small children at the resort. It's a quiet place.

I love the pool and hot springs but the room we stayed in was filthy and run down. In very poor shape. My husband has a list of all the violations. We paid around 300 a night for this disaster. It was the only one available with a kitchen and WiFi. Sadly I found another place called Death Valley Hot springs while we were staying there and it was so nice and clean and furnished nicely. I really wish we had gone there.

We loved the main ‘warm’ pool and adjoining hot tubs the most. There is also private tubs which are hotter..so you can only spend up to 30 mins in them, which was plenty. I could not tell if it was chlorinated or not. The bathrooms were clean, just old. The front office staff could be a little bit more friendly. But all in all the place was exactly what I expected. The campground is where we stayed and was basic but fine. Not Calistoga style but also not Calistoga prices. We will return.

Hot springs were nice and relaxing. However, the buildings were pretty run down. $30 pp is a little steep. Views were awesome! Only one changing room and it was pretty tight!

Tried one of the other (cheaper) hot springs resorts in Tacopa but this one is well worth the extra $. Went for one night in our camper van and stayed for 3 more. The Brewery/BBQ joint is walking distance and served up excellent ribs and brisket. We will be back!

This place is super cute I did not stay in the rooms I just used the hot springs. Unfortunately I think they chlorinate the springs and I had a pretty bad reaction to that and the combo of minerals. I am sensitive to many things but I’ve been to the resort across the way and I did not have that kind of response to their water. I enjoyed myself and would maybe spend the night here but utilize the springs in other parts of this small town rather. If you are not sensitive like me I bet you’ll enjoy yourself!

Neat place. Will go back. Claims wifi, but never worked when I was there. Main, outside pool and spas were immaculate! Private ones were ok, but the main ones really set the bar high! Great vibe. I didn't stay in a room, but I got to see one. Very basic, but very clean. It's not a 5 star resort, but it's 5 stars for what it is. It is the desert, so take that into consideration. This trip was at the end of January, and by 10:30 am it was getting pretty warm. Perfect in the shade thou. Had we stayed longer, would have to put up the awning. I can't imagine being there in the summer.

Visiting the hot springs is a great way to soothe away a rough week. The mineral rich hot springs leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Great place to get away from it all!! The rooms have been updated with some modern features and the hot springs are so wonderful. I highly recommend staying here.
