Horrible!!! I walked In to open a new account there wasn’t a soul in there. I was told I needed an appointment and had to come back at the end of the day. I showed up on time with the bank clerk deep into another appointment. Again not a soul in the place except for the guy who was supposed to help me. 15 minutes later I’ve still not been acknowledged, the receptionist reminds him I’m waiting, he never looks up, ever acknowledged me as a new customer. I ultimately walked out without so much as a word or an acknowledgement they just lost a new customer. Craziest bank I’ve ever seen.

Inside scamming job taking cash for bail bonds through the ATM machine. Police report filed. The bank will not give any support or contact information in order to return funds that they have record of on video.

Worst bank I’ve ever used. They charge $12 a month for an account. They dont consider cashapp or zelle direct deposit. They charge card replacement fees, high check fees and this branch takes FOREVER to do a simple transaction. They were good years ago before they came to California and now they are truly awful.

I have been going to this bank for years. They always treat all of their customers with caring customer service. They are attentive, it's very easy to schedule an appointment, they go above and beyond to help all of their customers with any questions and do a great job of following up. And they answer their phones! You actually get a live person! I have done business at several banks and this bank is by far the most excellent.

This bank used to be fantastic, great employees and great service. They brought in new people and you have to wait in line because the tellers have gone to lunch. The last time I went to make a deposit I waited 20 minutes in line. The manager can't help out because he hasn't been trained. Service stinks! No comparison to former service and employees.

To whom it would apply to in the upper management at Compass Bank that could take action against David Alvarez branch manager. I bought a Lexus from a client of mine in late November 2017. Compass bank did not notify DMV that loan had been satisfied. All we needed was a letter of no interest in the lexus from the bank. My client and I both made calls to David Alvarez in what we needed. He told us the paperwork would be mailed out within the week. Nothing ever came. Phone calls were screened by numbers. Emails not responded to. Certified maid was declined by David Alvarez with an email saying sorry can't help you. It took 4 months dealing with DMV before the Lexus was able to be put in my name. David Alvarez is a man with no BALLS and hides behind his phone. Be leary of doing business with this gutless man. My client and I wish you the worst in your business career. May your superiors flush you from their institution. Thanks M J Grogan The rating should not be even a quater star.

I don't know why this place has only one star! I've only been going to this branch for a few because it's closes to my new home. The two girls (Ericka & Victoria) there have been wonderful even though they are understaffed at the moment. I have even seen the new manager (David) on multiple occasions come out and talk to customers in line to see if he could help in any way. I really do like this branch they get to know you as a person not just a customer. They know me by name when I walk in and they are always super nice not only to me but to other customers I've seen come into that branch.

YELP really needs to make 0 stars and negative stars an option! Because this bank deserves less than nothing. My husband and I applied for Secured Cards through BBVA in October 2017 to help build our credit. At the end of March, we decided to close our accounts with this bank because every time we go into the bank the staff is super rude. On March 30th, my husband and I go into BBVA Temecula Regional office to close the cards and our accounts. While waiting in line the branch manager David came over and tried to convince us to give BBVA another chance, as soon as we said "No", the service got worse. The teller, Victoria, processed the request to have our accounts closed and told us she would contact us in a few days to let us know the status. A week later, we go into the branch after not receiving any calls and the other teller, Erika tells us that our cards have to be at a $0 balance in order to submit a ticket to have them closed. Why wasn't this told to us in the first place (we had assumed they would just deduct the funds from our security deposit)? So we paid the cards to a $0 balance on April 7th, the tickets were then submitted and we were told it takes 20-business days. Last week we went in to the branch (again) to make sure things were rolling smoothly, where we were told by Victoria that she regularly checks the process and everything would be finalized on Monday (yesterday) and she would call us when we could go down and pick up our funds. So today, Tuesday, I received a call around 9-am from Victoria saying my credit card account was officially closed and I could pick up my cash. When my husband received his call, they told him that his ticket still wasn't processed, and they didn't know why. So when we just went into the branch to pick up my cash, we checked in on my husbands account and the ticket was NEVER submitted. This is absolutely ridiculous. We went in on March 30th, to start this process and here we are on April 24th back to square one with BBVA. A new ticket has to be submitted and we have to wait 20-days again. Apparently, the people in the "back office" who deal with all the tickets, don't have phones either, you have to submit a ticket. B******** there's no reason customer service can't be called and talked to by one or the tellers or the branch manager. So let's go through this Temecula Regional Location personally, the only teller that knows what she's doing is Erika, but she's basically a snob the entire time and has no personality, but at least she has a clue of what she's doing. Victoria, the other teller has absolutely no idea what she's doing considering she never submitted my husbands ticket, and never disclosed to us that our credit card balances had to be at a $0 balance, on top of she always has a blank look on her face. David, the branch manager is a complete and total a******* he basically did nothing whatsoever to help my husband and I get to a resolution today, all he did was repeat exactly what Erika said to us regarding Victoria not actually submitting the ticket. David also is constantly walking around on his cellphone either texting, scrolling through IG/FB and he's always has his lunch all over his face. He's a horrible branch manager and I would NEVER work with him again. Basically, no one there wants to do their job and no one at this location knows how to do their job. HOW IS THIS GOING TO BE RESOLVED? WE WANT OUR MONEY BBVA!

1st time in this bank/office. I am here to help my sister with a banking issue. We have been waiting for over 45 minutes just to speak with someone regarding this simple issue. Barely even acknowledged. Worse customer service. I will never be with this bank!
