Gershon Bacus has become one of our favorite wineries. Their small, boutique wines are absolutely amazing and the friendly, personal atmosphere pairs perfectly with the warm, earthy and delightful wines. We’re treated like family by the entire staff!
Sitting outside enjoying the beautiful views while sipping one of their delightfully tantalizing wines is nirvana!

Absolutely the best wine and value we have expensive wine’s but a bottle of GBV products are superior to a $200-$300 bottle anywhere else.
Fantastic facility and Howard never disappoints with his recommendations.

While vacationing in Newport Beach, we were encouraged to visit the wineries of Temecula. After a 90 drive from our resort, we arrived a winery that we had planned to visit and because of the high winds, we were informed that essentially all of the wineries were without power, to lower the risk of wildfires erupting. As we were turning around to head out toward Old Town, we passed GBV and seeing the ‘Open’ sign, we decided to investigate, even though we saw no cars. We were greeted at the door by Stephanie and she stated that although they didn’t have any power, we were more than welcome to come in and do a tasting and we could have a charcuterie board to snack on. What an incredible experience and place! As luck would have it, we had the place to ourselves and had Stephanie’s full attention as she described the various wine personalities. The pours were generous, and the views of the surrounding vineyards were beautiful!! The prices for such quality reds was very reasonable compared to others that we had read about in the area. Such a pleasant surprise and would definitely make it a point to come back again!

We love GBV !! Best reds in the Temecula Valley, great views from the patio, and the servers are the best !! Go now, but save some for me.

Each bottle tasted better than the last. Wine tasting experience was beyond my expectations. Smooth and quality wines.
I had my homemade soughdough bread, olives and cheese. Paired well with their wines.

Gershon Bachus was an absolutely lovely winery. The wines were amazing, the staff was friendly and informative, and the view was like you were in Italy. So why then a 1 star review?
I am giving 1 star because when I drive out into the country to enjoy a wine and have a lovely conversation with others I am trying to escape the ridiculousness that we're faced with every day. Part of that ridiculousness is the political division in this country. So when I find that the urinal cake holders in the mens room have a picture of Joe Biden on them I am ripped away from the enjoyment and shoved back into the day to day uncertainty and hatred that is way to prevalent these days.
I would love to recommend the place to friends on both sides of the political spectrum but I can't. Because a winery in the country should be a place of relaxation, not a political statement. Shame on the owners for allowing such a lovely place to be ruined by their hatred.

Take a break from the mega wineries and stop in to one of the best around. You are literally in their house. Old dogs walking around and great wine. Nice views and reasonable prices. $22 for a 6 tasting and some extra tasting.
