I greatly appreciate our local Home Depot. The floor staff and cashiers are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I had a less than stellar experience ordering a custom screen door for my house. The door was ordered in May 2023, final install was January 2024. I was originally given an 8 week turnaround time from order to install. The first time my door showed up damaged, I was undermined by the Customer Order Specialist as she squinted at the door to find the imperfection and try to convince me it could not be easily seen so we could accept the order.. I expressed that I could see plainly with both eyes open there was a crease in the mesh tech screen in which we paid over 2k for. Aside from that situation and other delays, I am happy with our door. The management staff ensured I was kept in constant communication with updates and our installer was also courteous and professional. We receive compliments on our door, I am satisfied with our purchase.

We had the strangest visit last time we were here. Strange in a good way. We were in the checkout line next in line, and this man just comes up and stands next to us and takes the next checkout. We looked around confused, and we were met with looks from other patrons as if they agreed with us that it was crazy that happened. We didn't say anything and just let it go down. We went to the next open check out and a manager walked up to the women who was ringing us up scanned a badge and commped our order. We left not paying at all. Totally an new concept for me. As we left the manager said "I saw what happened" Totally not necessary for her to do that, but it was a nice gesture.

Talk about being greedy and disrespectful to loyal customers. The plants original price was 29.98 but the stuck a sticker for 34.98. They didn't even try to hide it. Peoples watch the price tags bc you are paying more than the original prices for dead plants..Never shopping here.

Went to Home Depot to purchase some GFI replacements. When checking out I informed the clerk that I am Navy Vet and have a discount card she states that she cannot give me the discount without the app on my phone. I did not have my phone with me and she gave me a hard time. She was totally disrespectful and could not care less. Those of us who served our country have earned respect without having to be treated badly when we ask for the discount we are owed. I'm sorry but the training you give your employees should at the very least be an instruction to be smiling and cheerful and happy to receive your business otherwise I will go elsewhere and tell all my friends...don't bother.

Just received a letter that is going out to all Home Depot credit card holders. Home Depot is raising its Annual Percentage Rate to 29.99% going into effect on March 19, 2024. You can opt out and close your card but take a hit on your credit for closing an account or keep it, but if you use it they are hitting us hard in interest. I find this outrageous, especially after using this card, never late, or missed a payment, and they thank me by attempting to "take" more money away. The letter today is a slap in our face and shows us that our economy is getting worse by the day regardless of what some try to tell us. It's time to stand up against these types of actions and stop using their accounts that are designed to line their pockets with no regard. If you have a card you will get this letter soon. Make your voice heard and don't tolerate the gouge.

We purchased an LG Washer and Dryer set from Home Depot and it was delivered during the week. The dryer has NEVER fully dried any clothes. The dryer would turn on, we could here the gas light up, but after 54 minutes, we checked the clothes and they were still damp and cool. We worked during the week and read the full manual and watched videos to see if it was just a settings issue and nothing worked. We called home depot to have it checked and they sent two guys out whom checked the installation and the exhaust, then the settings and they said it was defective and we need to get a replacement. It would not heat up. Then it got far worse. Both my wife and I have spent over 7 hours of phone calls and transfers to different departments, then transfers to LG manufacturer, then they randomly hang up on us. Then we asked for escalation to managers, then all they do is play a game of transferring our calls, giving us hope they will replace this Dryer that is defective and has NEVER worked properly. The best they will do is try to repair the unit. We purchased a new dryer, and we want a unit that works. They want to repair a defective unit that never worked. So watch out, if you do not check the entire washer and dryer to make sure all functions work within 48 hours, they will not back up their products. Most of us are too busy to try all function in 48 hours and their store personel never advised us we only have 48 hours to make sure everything works. Poor disclosure, but it is in the small fine print on the receipt. Not provided to us before the purchase, and not explained. We now have a defective LG laundry set for $2200 that we can not use and customer service was horrible, even the local store management would not help. I have a business that has spent over $500,000 at the store, and they still will not honor and back the product they sell. They said it is not their product and that we actually bought it from LG, but we bought it at their store. If Home Depot will not honor their products, it is time to use what little competition is left. Do Not Buy any appliances from HOME DEPOT- Especially avoid the Corona Locatioin, you will get ripped off too.

*****Updated: the manager and the customer service specialist did a great job of working to swap out the appliance with another. Grateful to have a team there that cares about customer service.*Order your washer and dryer from Lowe's or another store with a return policy. I discovered that the 48 hour return policy at Home Depot is a lie. The dryer will not work in my home and was delivered this week brand new and they won't take it back. They have a policy that they can't take back specialty appliances. I wondered why the interior designer shared she only orders from Lowe's. Lowe's will take it back within 90 days. Lesson learned.

I find everything I want to patch up the home myself here - it's hard to complain! staff is super friendly & nice & very helpful. Our family has had great experiences when purchases don't meet expectations. I've recently been impressed after buying their in-house Glacier Bay branded faucet - while installing, the instructions were not very good & the cheaper construction twisted the inlet piping. It was replaced no questions asked. Then after a year or two, the handle repeatedly needed to be tightened w a hex wrench every few weeks. We sent one message to Glacier Bay support, sent photos & they sent a replacement handle pronto when they in fact could have maybe sent us some threadlocker. faucet still works as good as new!

Sure you can call Home Depot a Hardware store but not a well stocked one. Majority of the time they don't have what I need. Hank's Hardware is far better .

This location is fantastic! I went to look for storage containers and found a plethora of choices. The prices are competitive. the staff were friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked. I will definitely make this Home Depot a future stop.

Always a good selection. Didn't have the seeds we were looking for this trip. Didn't give us our military discount even though we have signed up multiple times and presented the card at checkout. Always have issues with checkout at Temecula store.
