It’s taken me some time to write this review because the experience was incredibly painful, and I genuinely care about supporting entrepreneurs and women in business. However, I feel a responsibility to share my story to help others avoid what I went through with Ayeshia.
Three months before my wedding, I consulted with Ayeshia about a K-Tip installation. I clearly communicated that my hair doesn’t respond well to chemical relaxers and that protein treatments are typically better for me. She reassured me that her relaxer would actually strengthen my hair and that she hadn’t seen any breakage with her other clients. Based on her confidence, I trusted her judgment and booked the appointment. My hair did look beautiful for my wedding.
During the time I wore K-Tips, I had two wash-and-style appointments. I repeatedly asked about the health of my natural hair, and she consistently told me it was in good condition. However, when it came time to remove the K-Tips, the process was difficult. I’ll admit that in the two weeks before my takedown appointment, I wasn’t brushing three times a day as instructed—but I never expected to lose 6 to 7 inches of hair in that short time.
Afterward, Ayeshia recommended microlinks as a better alternative to protect my natural hair. I trusted her again and went forward with the installation, following all aftercare instructions meticulously. Two months later, I reached out to have them removed, but Ayeshia was on vacation. To stay consistent with her care regimen, I went to another stylist who specializes in microlinks. That’s when I learned they were not installed properly—my natural hair had been caught between the wefts, leading to significant breakage and bald spots from hair being pulled out at the root.
I reached out to Ayeshia to explain the situation and requested a refund for the microlink installation. Given the damage and that this method was recommended by her, I felt this was fair. She denied the refund and instead offered a discounted price to help “restore” my hair.
Unfortunately, my trust has been deeply damaged. I don’t share this out of spite, but out of a desire to prevent others from experiencing the same pain and loss. Many of the glowing five-star reviews are posted right after the initial appointment—and yes, she does offer a free gift in exchange. Please do your research and proceed with caution.

I recently visited Salon DLM to get my hair and make up done for my elopement. I was extremely happy with both my hair stylist and make up artist.
Ruby styled my hair into a french twist which held the entire day for me. She is so welcoming and kind and I highly recommend anyone looking to have their hair styled and coming from out of town to work with her.
Summer was my make up artist and her work is impeccable. I was very happy with the final look and how accommodating she was to what I wanted.
Just a note on the pricing I paid $160-180 per service including a tip.

My wife went to that location for hair extensions and consulted with one of the employees. She had an appointment set for the following week. My wife called and left several messages and was left on red every time. I won't mention the name of the employee because I'm not posting this maliciously. However she (employee) was incredibly unprofessional. Luckily my wife found a better place in Temecula.

Our Son was getting married. Mom, 2 sisters and a granddaughter came for hair and makeup. Absolutely wonderful. We all looked beautiful, Summer was a true professional we felt honored we had the opportunity to work with her. She made a special day even more special.

SalonDLM is truly a beautiful and neat salon. Everyone here is so friendly and the stylist are insanely talented. Shout out to chelsea for always doing an amazing job. I highly recommend this salon for the great stylist and the cutesy aesthetic.

wow. it was so nice to meet Kayla, when I first walked in and she was very friendly and welcoming, and i felt comfortable with her.
she understood the assignment and literally took my uneven different shades of brown hair and made it look beautiful, a brown to caramel balayage so elegant and classy. I also appreciate how down to earth, real and open she is about learning, and adjusting to the customers need.
