Christy was horrible. Everything about my service was physically painful. I want to preface this review with the fact that I am not tender headed and I use extremely hot water when washing my hair at home.
When she shampooed me she scratched my scalp, burned me with almost boiling extremely hot water, and literally ripped out my earrings with how forceful she was being. When I tried to tell her it was painful and the water was too hot she simply replied with a nonchalant “oh, sorry.” The deep conditioning treatment I paid for did not happen but I was still charged for it. When she brought me back to the chair she was ripping her brush through my wet hair without any detangling- literally yanking my head back and forth painfully and I could hear my hair breaking because of how hard she was pulling. She also kept hitting me in the face with the brush and bringing the brush down extremely hard onto my head. After hitting me in the face multiple times with the brush I asked if everything was okay and she replied “yeah,why?” And I told her she was kept hitting my face with the brush. She replied simply “sorry” and continued to be extremely forceful with the brush. She started to blow dry my hair and was holding the hair dryer so close to my scalp it was burning and painful and I had to keep pulling my head away and say “ouch, too close/too hot”. She also sped through the haircut and didn’t do at all what I asked for and completely butchered my layers as they came out extremely uneven. I had originally told her I needed a curl done too but at this point was too scared to keep sitting in her chair afraid she would burn my skin on purpose with the hot curling iron so I paid $90 something dollars and left.
I came back minutes later in tears because I couldn’t believe someone could treat a customer that way. I told who I believed to be the supervisor on duty about everything that I experienced and how disappointing and upsetting the whole experience was. I was told Christy would be “spoken to”, and another stylist very kindly offered to try to fix my haircut. The lady who helped me after was so incredibly kind and sweet. I feel horrible for not remembering her name but she was very tall and blonde.
I’m honestly appalled at the treatment I received from Christy. I would never in a million years hope anyone experiences what I did at this establishment at Christy’s hands. Ever since this happened I have been telling all of my friends, family and colleagues in the area to avoid this salon like the plague and to never bring their friends or loved ones in less they be treated like garbage by Christy.

I think we found our “guy” Today I took my four year old son in for a haircut. We were helped by Mason and he was very attentive, talked to my son and explained every step of the process to him. The haircut turned out perfect and looks so natural. I’m so thankful we found Mason and will definitely return for his services.
Requested style: Mason knew exactly what i needed and pulled it off.
Stylist: Mason was my stylist and did an excellent job.
