This branch is so weird. Their employees are all untrained, unprofessional and unwilling to help customers. I tried to open a business account and the banker keep asking me,"what business do you do" I answered them and they asked again and say you have to give us more details. I said that was detail enough and I didn't know what more detail I could give them. I eventually went to another branch and I answered same answer but I didn't have any problems. Last week, I went there to open an account with me sister. Their banker had my sister to went there three times because they didn't told her what documents to bring. She even just said,"we can't help you without the documents." Instead of give a full list to her and had her went there again but saying the same thing. I eventually asked the banker to print out a list of required documents but the banker refused. It's only a list but they refused and only say what is not accepted when she bring in the documents. I voiced up and repeated I need a list but she refused and her manager came out and said they won't do that. And told me to claim down. I only demanded one thing: A list! I was so clear but they didn't listen. Their employees are always just chatting with each other and telling the customers to go away. And the manager even asked if I was so unhappy with them why I came back. Hey what’s wrong with her? I am a long term citi customer, citi gold and also business customer. She doesn’t own the bank. She just works there and she was literally telling me to go away

People here are unwilling to help customers, I have no idea who is running this branch, but you need to know that you do not train your employees well. Still, your bankers here are unprofessional and not willing to help customers(avoid help). I will never go to this place anymore.May Lee is the one who pretends to help, but she does nothing.I have two credit cards with Citi, and I have been with Citi’s checking account for eight years.I went to this branch to open my saving account. She asked me to bring my physical Social Security Card and said she needed the photocopy on file with it. I asked her if I could show her the picture of my social security number she said no. She said I had to bring the card to show her. Otherwise, she will not help me to open my saving account. Is that weird?I know there is no such rule, and yesterday I received my banker in Rancho Park, then I went to the Rancho Park branch today, I did not ask to bring my social security card, and they only need to know the numbers.Guess what? I went smoothly to open my Citi gold checking and saving account today in Rancho Park. The people there are super friendly and professional. They spend time helping and making me feel that is what Citi should be.They told me that since I have been with Citi for years, they have all the documents they need on file.It turns out what May Lee said in this branch was a lie. She didn’t want to do the extra work or spend her precious time to help with customers. That’s it.I have something to say for this branch, you guys are Asian, and many of you speak Chinese. It is excellent for some customers who do not speak English can get help here. It should be a nice thing. And one of the reasons you got hired is because your boss thinks you guys can use our multi-language skills to help more customers instead of hassle them. If you are not willing to help customers, then you need to think about to change another job—peace and love for you.

Your banker stated that I had to have an appointment to open a new account. However, no one answers phone calls. How can I make an appointment? I had been called almost four hours to either Arcadia office or Temple City office. Should I go to other banks? My friend said that Arcadia office is a very good place to get banking services. Looks she was not right.

Beware Investment Advisors at Citi. Last Dec 2021, citi branch setup my mom to get investment advise. Advisor Anna persuade my mom to invest all her svgs into a Franklin municipal bond fund. Less than 1 mos, the fund dropped over $5k, and by 5th mos, it dropped $16k more than 11%. Noted my mom is 81 yrs old, do not speak English, and has NO grammar school, not any investment background. I filed a compliant to Citi investigation team. What it came back was she was in suitable investment because her tolerance level is "moderate", and investment knowledge is "moderate". How on earth does a 81 yrs old widow evaluated as "moderate" risk + experienced investor? Then I find out the decision of "suitable fit" was based on "new acct form" she signed. Anna asked my mom signed an open account form (in English), computer-typed by her, ck box "moderate" investment exp, and moderate risk. So my mom never knew what she signed, but was told in chinese that it was an open account form.I was present, and I did asked "shouldn't we wait until next year because Fed is increasing rate, and wouldn't this bond fund goes down?" Anna replied, she followed this fund over 20yrs, and it is very safe and will go back up eventually if it goes down one year. So far, my mom has lost $16,000 over 11% in this fund within 6 mos. And I later find out citi advisors receives commission from clients and being year-end, advisors must be desperate to meet quotas. Also, Please be aware there is no such thing as "Compliant dept" because there is no person's name who email you nor contact phone no. (Only they can talk justify they're right, but you can never talk to anyone! ) When you call and file a compliant, they take your compliant and after 1-mo reply your email with some ridiculous excuses that your investment is right fit, it is just your bad luck investing on the market. BE AWARE OF THE AGENT, "ANNA L"She service Arcadia, Irvine, SG valley. I had to trace her 3 branches to find her#.

0 Star! This bank service is terrible! My husband account had been temporarily frozen, we visited that branch and Banker Jesse helped us call the headquarters to check why frozen our money for no reason? We heard over the phone The HQ representative had released our money, but after we go back to the cashier window a guy made b******* to told us account blocked again after we offered two types of IDs and all evidence. I watched them talking secretly inside the cashier window. Also their hands were tired, and nothing to do just back home to wait? Seriously? Obviously b******** I had no idea what Citi Bank gonna do by steal our money? We'll tired of calling and wait, best ways is asking a lawyer for help and file a complaint to OCC and lawsuits to protect our legal right! Search Google or YouTube you'll find lots of victim customers of Citi, it is the worst bank in US Don't give your money to this bank and branch you'll regret! Terrible! Go Chase or BOA instead!

Julian chu is the worst personal banker I ever come across. Julian Chu provide the worst customer services. Julian chu is very sarcastic, rude, and arrogant. Horrible person, should not be in a customer services field. Had two bad experiences with Julian Chu. I had to call to complain about this person. I will never and ever go back to this branch. I went to the one in Durante, they have great customer,
