(Translated by Google) Lottery tickets can be purchased in the store, hoping that the lucky prize can be reduced.

Had this rated five stars, no longer, under new ownership. I go here almost every other day, the lady cashier is always there, when I ask for something behind the counter, always the same pack of cigarettes, she has no idea what I'm asking for, I've only been through this 40 plus times, I have to point them out and she tries to give me the wrong one purposely, guess I will take business elsewhere

Before attending a family gathering of beautiful Chinese people in Temple City, I was at lost searching for a local liquor store and really didn't know my way around. Had I planned earlier, I would have gone to Vons because they have an amazing selection. With some regret I yelped Whaley's and decided to pop in for a couple bottles of vino. As I suspected, there was near zero inventory so I went with the priciest bottles they had of 20 bucks. Perfect! The guy was real cool too.

I'm absolutely certain that no one can write a bad review about whaleys. The owner Tony is the nicest person I have ever met in my life. His liquor store is known throughout local temple city residents. If you live in temple city then you know tony by name. Whats so special about tony is that he treats everybody with the same amount of respect, even homeless people that stumble into his store sometimes. I personally support his store as often as i can. We love you Tony!!!

Alrighty... this is the next lotto list stop... it also doubles up as a general store which was completely unanticipated. They have it all here, primarily liquor, but they have it all. We have an entire wall of liquor bottles of various sizes, a couple of freezer cases with beer, racks with salty stuff (nuts, jerky, chips), a couple racks of car stuff (oil, power steering or brake fluid, air freshners, etc), candy bars, cereal, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap... they literally have almost any random item I can think of. I think they even may have had a broom and dust pan combo for sale! The clerk was very friendly and joking with all of the folks in the store. He definitely brought some joviality to the location. There is a front and rear entrance. Parking on Las Tunas in front and a small lot behind. All of the parking is free :D This place is definitely easily accessible which helps them to sell everything, I am sure.
