I visited Central Coast Pharmacy for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had to have a new medication compounded for my cat's special needs.
I was greeted by a very nice woman and pleasantly surprised by her genuine caring and friendly attitude toward me. She smiled a lot.
She knew I'd never used the medication. It took an oral syringe to administer the meds. It was small and appeared to be tailored to cats. With tiny measurement markings.
She marked with a piece of tape the place on the syringe to make it easier for me to withdraw the appropriate amount confidently. (I'm 70 and not nearly as confident performing new tasks) But her doing just a little extra by marking the syringe made a big difference in my confidence.
The pharmacy inventory itself was totally unique!
For the holidays there were charming and creative decorations that made me smile and will continue to spread joy during future seasons. There were unique gifts for your favorite Cowgirl and artistic holiday decorations. I highly recommend taking the time to go into the pharmacy. It will make you feel good experiencing their carefully curated gifts and decorations.
I'm looking forward to returning for the refill and more closely looking at their unique and delightful items.

I loved the service I got there in the 2 times I had to go while on vacation. Needed meds for allergies, etc. Both times, different women helped me. They were so friendly and helpful. The prices for the over the counter items I bought were cheaper there than where I buy them in my hometown at big box pharmacy stores. The gift shop was packed full of fun and interesting items. Small town pharmacies are gems that shouldn't be overlooked. They take the time to help. To give you insider info on the town of where to eat or just something that doesn't show up on the usual internet searches.

Excellent customer service from Adam. I needed my dogs Vetmedin medication (which is perpetually on backorder from the manufacturer) in a hurry and within less than 48 hours of being called in by my vet, the rx was delivered to my home! Couldn't be more pleased and will definitely use again.

These guys are awesome. They were able to fill my veterinary antibiotic prescription cheaper than the vets office, AND compound it into a liquid so that I don't have to stuff pills down my dogs throat. I can't even begin to describe how much better this is for both me and my dog. This is a game changer. I'll never fill another prescription at the vets office again.

I am quite surprised by the negative reviews, as I have had nothing but positive experience since going there June, 2018. I give them advanced notice when I know the medications will run out, because I know they make the compounds right there in the pharmacy section. All staff have been very thoughtful and contact the doctor if renewing prescriptions are needed. I wish them all the success in the world and thank them and my doctor for their kindness and thoughtfulness.

I haven’t had a prescription filled here but they looked great. Smells great...oh, if you need a laugh then read some of the little items that they have in store.

Odd, cavalier and somewhat abrupt attitude behind the counter. Will request my MD refers myself and my family to another pharmacy, even if it means driving a few more miles...

I started using this wonderful pharmacy by the recommendation of our veterinarian. Our dachshund has IMHA & needs daily compounded medication. I was getting it at a compounding pharmacy in Montecito (we live in Goleta, so it's a bit of a drive & they never ONCE had it ready when they'd promised), but they didn't offer capsules. Not only are the capsules easier than liquid, they're less dangerous & easily hidden in a pill pocket! The cost of the medication was considerably less than the 'other' pharmacy as well, even with postage. But alas, I've left out the best part. These peeps are efficient, kind, friendly & prompt. I highly recommend Central Coast Pharmacy!
