Stayed with my family a bit ago and we had the best time — rooms are comfortable, lots of activities to keep us busy, and the property has a peaceful yet fun vibe. Avantstay was great—they had the fridge stocked before we showed up and sent a masseuse over one day. It’s about 10 mins away from town, but that didn’t bother us. Already booked for next year!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience top to bottom. We stayed at the property for my sons birthday and had our entire family and extended family there. We used AvantStay's concierge service to get everything we needed for the event. I will definitely be back! Thank you AvantStay!

The location and property are beautiful and that is about it. The team made our wedding quite a hassle. Email communication was very slow and it often took multiple outreach attempts to get answers, and it felt like we were getting the runaround from them (scam vibes).It's been 3 weeks since our stay and we still have not received our deposit back. They ended up sending our deposit to some one else's credit card and I have been trying to get the situation resolved but haven't had any luck.We used a DJ that they recommended and has worked hundreds of events at the property before. He ended up moving items around the property using his van and left without moving the items back. The next day, after we checked out, he sent a message saying we might get charged for the heavy furniture he moved and he never came back to help us move it -- we did not have the resources (a van) to move the stuff back. It's almost like vendors that they recommend are in cahoots with AvantStay to milk more money out of guests, it just feels scammy.Lastly, we were told someone would be on site the day of our wedding to help with some last minute details and be on call for anything we needed. This was not the case. No one showed up and we had to make a lot of adjustments because we were unable to access the barn which we needed. Very disappointed in this company and the added stress they put on us during an already stressful planning process and wedding day. Knowing what I know now, I would not recommend having your wedding there.

I have been here twice, once for my own wedding, and once as a vendor for someone else's wedding. For our wedding it exceeded our expectations and the house was just a dream to stay at for 3 days. The staff made everything easy for us so on our wedding day could be as stress free as possible. I was excited to go back as a vendor because of how spectacular the venue was and it delivered once again. So much fun and the staff made the experience effortless on our end. I hope to be back soon!

We recently photographed Rylie & Austin's wedding here, and it was literally one of our favorite "venues" we've ever photographed. There is so much to love about this place, and we can't even begin to get into all of it, but just know, that for guests and everyone that stays here, it will be an absolutely unforgettable experience! We hope to be back soon.

We had booked the ranch for our 7 family annual reunion in January for our trip in September. But as you know, Covid happened, and no one feels safe with 28 people under one roof. We cancelled the reservation with David back in May well in advance, since Riverside county also has a mandate of not over 25% occupancy and all tables and furniture 6 feet apart (which meant he needed to have 7 sets of furniture for us). However, David would not return our deposit in full, stating due to the cancellation policy in the lease, we are only entitled to get 50% back (thus charging us $700). It is very unethical as Covid is a situation out of our control; we did not cancel due to our personal reasons. Unbelievable business practice! Do not stay here!UPDATE (in response from the owner's comments below):David, are you saying that you feel it's safe for 7 families, 28 people, to stay under one roof, even if you have a 'private 20 acre' ranch? Are we going to stay an acre apart from each other when we sleep? Of course we fully understand a contract is a contract, and we don't take our annual trip planning lightly. We've done weeks of research to decide for a 28 people place to stay, and we all were looking so much forward to enjoying the lake the property the activities. However, if we have know Covid would be a threat when we signed the contract with you in January, we wouldn't be in this situation now. Almost all of us 7 families have booked international travels including airlines and hotels either for spring break, summer break, Thanksgiving, Christmas; and we were all able to cancel, not given a credit for a future stay like you are doing to us, completely and refunded in full. Because NO ONE, including you, can anticipate when this pandemic would end. So WHY WOULD YOU FEEL RIGHT TAKING OUR DEPOSITS?? Knowing that we are being forced into this situation. You have no right to judge whether or not all 28 of us feel comfortable staying at your ranch under one roof, your other guests have their own prerogatives and we have our own as well. We demand our deposit returned in full or else we will take further actions.

An event center hosts an event and the owner calls the cops when the event is underway. That sounds pretty insane right? Well that became a reality with this place. I think it's a new owner. Wouldn't recommend to anyone I know to have their event there.

Nearby activities: So much fun, pool party,great in door and out door kitchen, hot tub is perfect. You can kayak,paddle boatd,play ping pong,pool,shoot hoops,ride bikes, or even just relax it's ALL RIGHT THERE. The gorgeous mountains creat a lovely backdrop. Perfect place. Oh and the bar by the pool table! My daughter's wedding was there and it was beautiful and fun!

We had a family wedding last weekend at the Buena Vista. Perfect weekend. Chandler, our Event Planning Manager was amazing. Two of the vendors we hired to be there were difficult (as in one did not show up - ice delivery). Chandler handled the situation calmly with ease, and resolved all issues.AvantStay, Chandler is your 5 star memory of our stay.
