About Fresh Dates by Anderson
Fresh Dates by Anderson is a family-run date farm in Thermal, CA, with deep roots in the area. It is a go-to farm with a whole selection of dates, including many varieties and the Medjool, skillfully grown and harvested. The farm offers very good and reasonable prices for its fresh and superb dates, which are available starting around October but only last a few months. The setting is like a little oasis with beautiful palm groves, some with trees originally transplanted from the Middle East. The folks are very nice, amazing, and provide significant customer service, often giving informative overviews of the farm history and date production. The experience of a visit and tasting is highly recommended.
We got to sample each kind of date and Janice gave us a little sampler box for free to take home. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Dates were very reasonably priced and so delicious even in the off season. It was hard to not buy too much.
