Something i was looking for wasnt even there what a wast of time! low on consoles I was looking for the wildcat nintendo switch so bad customer service and not a great place to shop youll always see taging and some drugged people in the store and people smoking and their Iphone displays alwasys have the weirdest and inoporpiate wallapapers

At first I was a bit hesitant to upgrade my home theater with Best Buy as in the past there was a lack of knowledge and customer service. Well times have completely changed at the Thousand Oaks location. Bertrand was my salesperson and he was amazing. Extremally knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. Being that I have been in sales my whole life (over 20yrs) it was nice to receive a level of customer service that I pride myself on giving my clients. I had geek squad install a TV, speakers, receiver and set everything up. It went fantastic with them spending almost 8hrs to make sure everything looked perfect. There was a slight issue, but it was resolved by Charley one of the managers with a level of professionalism you see only at high end establishments. If your shopping around at the various overpriced theater media shops in town, don't overlook Best Buy in Thousand Oaks. Thank you again everyone my family and I couldn't be happier.

I ordered a refrigerator 4 weeks ago. The first time they tried to deliver it, it was the wrong refrigerator. The second and third time, they brought badly dented refrigerators. The fourth and fifth time they said they couldn't get it up the stairs which were always there and the first delivery team saw the stairs. They kept saying the refrigerator was too big and they couldn't take the doors off the fridge like was done before. Anxiously waiting to see if this will be remedied tomorrow or if I will cancel and order from somewhere else. Every time they say they are coming they don't give a window until the night before so I have to cancel all appointments. That has happened 5 times and they really don't seem to care. I will update tomorrow.Update: They messed up again. Will order from Lowe's. Really sad that Best Buy doesn't have a decent delivery company.

Completely remodeled on the inside, very different from the old Best Buy vibe. Still has everything you would expect, plus some new items that weren't carried before, like Legos. Overall nice place with a lot to offer.

Geek Squad is always understaffed and hard to make convenient appointments. The service is great once you are finally helped. Pickup is even more difficult. You can wait 15 minutes for help.

I went to purchase a chrome book for my kid. I had to ask for help because even though they had like 20 zombie employees none of them bother to ask if I needed any help. They all just walk around like if they had something more importantto do than to help COSTUMERS!!! after I showed the guy the product I wanted he went to look for it and couldn't find it so I showed him a similar item but whit no avail becuase he couldn't find it either. After that he told me he was getting someone else to help me but after 15 minutes of waiting nobody came to the rescue. It's a shame they spent loads of money remodeling the store but they failed in the most important thing COSTUMER CERVICE. I ended up ordering online which I think is the way this store needs to go about doing bussines because their costumer cervice SUCKS. Thank you for wasting my time BEST BUY. You don't even deserve a rating.

I stood there looking for a new phone for 20 minutes. Countless employees walking by talking to each other,not a one asked if they could help me out. I left and bought a phone elsewhere. Nice Best Buy! Standard

WORST BUYA good friend bought a new, $400 Samsung TV from Best Buy (May 2023, Thousand Oaks, CA), opened the box and found a damaged screen. She had a family emergency (her daughter was hospitalized) immediately after the purchase, so she opened the box 4 days past Best Buy’s ridiculous two week window. Samsung said the TV was damaged during shipping, so it was Best Buy’s problem, not theirs. And Best Buy (and Geek Squad) told the customer it was no longer their responsibility. Attempting to return the TV, the customer found several identical TV’s being returtned that were damaged during shipping. Clearly they had a shipping problem. PLEASE don’t give this company your business, they’re as bad as they come. The absolutely heartless customer service meant a single mother (raising two kids) lost $400.
