Channel Islands Scuba is run by divers for divers. The shop lives, eats, and sleeps scuba diving and wants to help you do the same. The California Channel Islands are one of the world’s most beautiful scuba destinations and they are right in the back yard. The family shares a passion with yours. The open water refresher course is great, clear, and thorough. The instructor takes time to explain and answer questions. The refresher is fun and the onsite pool is a fantastic facility. The place is for beginners to seasoned divers. The location has everything you need. The owner is a great instructor, very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. After a refresher course you leave feeling 100% confident in your skills. The instructor is friendly, easy going, and honest. He didn’t try to sell anything and guided you, even suggesting you could shop around if what he had wasn’t exactly right. The entrance is on the back side of the shopping center. Highly recommended for all things scuba.

Did an open water refresher course with Larry. He was great. Really clear and thorough. Took his time to explain and answer questions. The refresher was fun, the onsite pool a fantastic facility.

Jennifer was terrific. Very informative, very nice. Didn't try to "sell" us anything but rather guided us. Even suggested we could shop around if what she had wasn't exactly right. Such honest and integrity seems rare these days.
