CLC has been a wonderful experience for our family. Ms Rashida and her team of teachers are amazing. Their attention to each child, love, and dedication show. My son loves going to this school, he feels safe, motivated, and excited to learn each day thanks to the caring environment that CLC provides.

The Montessori philosophy is independence within structure. However, Children's Learning Center (CLC) in Thousand Oaks elevates the learning experience to another level. CLC has small/age appropriate class sizes to ensure your child receives 1:1 attention from the teacher. Also, the 3 1/2- 5 year old group learn math, reading, and comprehension equivalent, if not more difficult than First Grade work. My daughter will enter Kindergarten in the fall reading and spelling words that are more challenging than what is expected of a First Grader. How do I know? Because I have a First Grader! I wish I knew about CLC back when my older daughter was in preschool.

The CLC has been amazing for our daughter and son. They have gained invaluable experience and knowledge. They get plenty of personal 1 on 1 time with the teachers and they enjoy going to school each morning. Our daughter is entering kindergarten as a 5 yr old this year but has been doing 2nd grade work, all a testament to the individualization the CLC has provided. We can't wait for our other son to start at the school as we know he will be in good hands. We thank Mrs. Rashida and all of the teachers for their excellent care they've provided to our kids and highly recommend this preschool to other parents.

We found this school completely by chance! We started my son here the day he turned 2. He’s now just over 2 1/2. We can’t believe the growth in him during these months! His vocabulary has greatly improved as well as his practical everyday skills. He’s learning so much from the teachers. Every teacher is really nice and cares about each child like they are their own. I’m also very impressed by the older kids! Many of the 4 and 5 year olds are doing work out of workbooks for 1st and 2nd grade level. We are just so happy with everything here. I honestly can’t say enough nice things. So happy we’re here.

My son is on his second year here and my daughter started a few months ago. I'm seeing huge positive changes in my kids as they're learning so much. I truly think this schools sets up and prepares kids for life. The kids who graduate and leave here are all top of their classes at their next schools. Miss Rashida and all the teachers are really sweet with the kids and the kids learn in such a positive environment. It's really like a second family here. The kids who go here are all nice too! We really feel so lucky to have found CLC! I can't say enough nice things about this wonderful school!

My son went to CLC Montessori for less than one year, but in that time, he learned to read, write, spell and do basic math. He can identify all the continents on a map and he can count to 10 in spanish. He is sad to leave and loves all his teachers who are very loving and a lot of fun. We want to give Ms. Penny, the queen of stickers a shout out for always having the best energy and being so patient with us during pick ups. Pick ups lasted 20 to 30 minutes sometimes because he didn't want to leave because he was having so much fun.

I like the idea to have my daughter in a small school but that's also provide everything needed. All teachers know my daughter super well and she is so happy to go to school everyday. Mrs Rashida the owner is an amazing teacher and choose an amazing staff to take care of our children! I love that school and the environment.

My son started preschool here last March after not having any learning for a year due to covid. He has thrived at this school ever since and is now 5 years old and learning 1st grade material. I could not be more happy to for my son to be at this school. Mrs Rashida and all the teachers are great.

My daughter Melody was in CLC ever since she was 2, then we left to K in Oak park public school, so she spent almost 3 years there, She's a second grader now. I will tell you this, CLC is the best place to send your kid in when they are little. My daughter quit diaper there, when she moved on to k, she's on top of everything: she loves science, she loves to read, she is above level in writing, she has very strong phonic foundation, and she has very good manner. Ms. Rashida and Ms.Farida are amazing teachers! We are very grateful that we chose CLC.

With much hesitation we enrolled our daughter who had just turned 3. She refused to say her name. After 4 days of school work Ms. Rashida our daughter was able to say her name when asked. I am forever grateful for the early education she had received from all the teachers. They are kind. The kids love their teachers so much that when you pick them up they don't want to go home. Thank you for all that you guys do.

As we approach the end of the school year, I can't thank enough Miss Rashida and her team for taking my daughter under their wings and help her achieve the best it can. My daughter is on the older side and academically; I felt she was a little behind; she was not reading and it bothered me; after 2 months at CLC Montesori, she was an emerging reader and from there she has not stopped learning, Math & science, she looks forward to it everyday and she comes home very happy sharing what's she has learned. She is now very sharp and is ahead of her age level and thriving with confidence. I can see this school works very hard, kids way younger than my daughter were already reading and doing advanced math problems, that's what impressed me during the initial tour. I think they are really good equipped with their Montessori tools and teachers are very neutering toward the kids, and they teach them independence at the same time. We can't thank you enough for what you were able to do in the "short" time and we are going to miss everyone now that my daughter aged out, my only regret is not to have started her younger at this great school; she would be way more advanced now. Thank you Miss Rashida & Team.

Our son has attended CLC, Montessori for nearly 2 years and it has been a wonderful experience. We are truly grateful for the incredible teachers, who provide a fun and loving environment, while encouraging creativity and independent thinking.Through the Montessori program at CLC, our son has developed a love of learning and is constantly surprising us. He has even learned some Spanish! We are certain that he will be prepared and confident when he begins Kindergarten. Thank you, CLC!

I can’t rave enough about Children’s Learning Center Montessori. My daughter has been enrolled since she was 20 months (currently 4 years old) and has thrived both socially and academically. Family members and friends have been impressed by her social skills and intellect, and we attribute it all to her experience at CLC. Because we have been so satisfied with our daughters’ overall experience at this school, we had decided to also enroll our son right when he turned 18 months old. Both of our children enjoy the prospect of going to school, and it helps that Ms. Rashida, Ms. Farida and support staff are all incredible, supportive and loving teachers. If you are on the search for a Pre-school/Kindergarten, I would look no further than Children’s Learning Center Montessori!
