The Citibank credit card department has the worst customer service I have ever received. If I could give a zero star rating I would. I would not recommend this bank to anyone. They should change their name from Citibank to Shitibank.

Went in here to add my name to my husband's account. There were two tellers and a CitiGold banker not helping customers, but apparently the only person who handles account changes was with a client. We asked and the CitiGold rep, sitting alone at a desk, told us we needed to wait for the other banker, which is fine. But about 5-10 minutes later the CitiGold lady came over and said we might need an appointment. She interrupted the woman with the client who said, yes we did need an appointment, because it would be at least an hour before she could help us. Why would that woman not have let us know that when she saw us sit down at the next desk clearly waiting for her? I then asked the CitiGold lady if she could help us since she wasn't with a client and she said no, that wasn't her role. So there were three employees not helping anyone in an almost empty bank, but we had to make an appointment and come back because the one person who could help us was busy? But if we were rich, then the CitiGold person could have helped us... She even asked if we were CitiGold and said she wouldn't help us only after we said no. I would understand asking us to make an appointment and another trip there if they were busy, but this was ridiculous. I walked out without arguing, but I won't be putting a cent there. By the way, we were planning to add significant funds to that account, but now I'll be adding my husband to the account I have at my bank and we'll keep the bulk of our funds there. Terrible customer service.

The worst customer service of any bank I've ever encountered. They are incompetent, have no regard for people's time, give out out the wrong information, and then tell the customer they can't complete a transaction because the customer hasn't brought the correct documentation, despite their instructions having been followed. Avoid like The Delta variant.

This bank is really bad. I came to deposit a check and they could not find the account because it was a Delaware account or some lame excuse. Seriously? Burned a half hour plus of my time plus now I have to do round 2 at a better branch. Step it up Citi. Embarrassing.

This branch is good for me because it's close to home but the bankers suck!!! The bankers are rude as hell! I rather go out of my way to the Westlake Village location where I know all of my banking needs will actually be met

I had the worst banking experience with this bank. I opened account with a large amount of money because a promotion that they offered. Put you $$ in for 60 days and we will give you $400 Bonus within the next 90 days. I deposited it on 7/20/18 and my $400 bonus should of been accredited to my account on 12/17/18, right in time for Christmas. It wasn't, so I had to open a "dispute". After oh so many visits and calls, all of which were extremely irriating, because they really don't care, I got my bonus $$ on 12/28/18. Its not worth it...go to Premier America, stay away from here.

Marko Glusac, the local Thousand Oaks Citibank mortgage broker. Marko just finished refinancing my home loan. Due to unavoidable financial events of the last 4 years, I am a tough REFI, even though my FICO is in the lower to middle 800 figure. About as good as it can get. In other words I have a spotless record going back decades. However, the underwriter absolutely refused to clear the loan. As with all underwriters, they are scared of their shadow. At the same time, Marko refused to take it off of the "books" until the underwriter okayed the loan. He never gave up. He won, which means, I won also. The loan was approved. Marko is truly one of the best, if not the best loan agent that i have ever run across.

Worst customer service EVER. The teller with the scarf covering her hair is the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a bank. (I'm in the banking industry so I'm in and out of banks daily) she needs to find a job she enjoys rather then working at a place she hates and treats good customers like crap. She really needs to learn some manners. She's nasty!

I have been with this bank and branch or decades through 3 takeovers. The staff there did not change for the most part which shows a loyalty to employees. Some original people are still there. I am not sure about some of the negative reviews. Any person can personally have a bad day, workloads can be heavy with people out sick or working while not feeling well. Some people don't seem to like anybody. Whatever the case, I have experienced that every person working there is genuinely very kind and helpful. I do not experience any longs lines when I visit. Candy is a go to person there who sincerely has your best interests at heart and has never failed to help me with any complication that did arise. I feel fortunate to have had her on the customer's side constantly. All banks have the same irritating rules, procedures and miserable underwriting groups to deal with. At least at this one the people there do care and will really do anything in their power to make you happy and meet your needs. It is a very nice feeling to go where you are genuinely liked.

Corporate idiots who run this place, just like every other big bank out there. They'll give you the rundown of the usual corporate crap when an issue comes up that doesn't fall in line with their rule book. Shut down an account without even trying to reach out to the customer. Pretty unprofessional.

I am giving this branch 5 stars based solely on my interactions with the assistant manager, Michael. He is hands down the most helpful and friendly person I have ever come into contact with at any Citibank branch or even the 800 number. He really understands the meaning of customer service and deserves more than 5 stars.

Unfriendly staff. I came here to cash a Citibank check. The male manager had on a poker face. This was when they were just opening for business at 9 AM. He didn't look happy to see a number of customers waiting at the door. The atmosphere inside seemed too quiet for comfort. The teller, an Indian woman, asked me what I did for a living as she was processing my check. Was it really necessary to ask me that question? This bank, staff is full of themselves. Thank goodness we bank with two other local banks in the area.
