I am writing about one experience only. I found the owner Jerry to be quite rude and condescending. He managed to embarrass me with a snarky response to a question. How rude ! Especially since there were at least ten people in the store who may have heard it. He did offer a financial apology which I declined. They have lost a customer as I am not willing to take a chance that the same thing wouldn't happen again.

Not only is this a beautiful and well stocked quilt shop, it's the people there that make your trip worthwhile. Everyone is kind, helpful, and more than willing to help you with your project. The owners Jerry and Marilyn are hands on and go out of their way to make you feel like a valued customer. I highly recommend this shop!!!

Everything I need and want this place has. The staff is super friendly. They are very attentive and even offer a table if I needed to sew while traveling. The fabric is of great quality and the price is not bad at all: compare to big chain stores. Will be back next time I am in town, they have a lot of fabric I wouldn't find at other stores

I am so disgusted at this shop, I will NEVER go there again! My friend and I went to Cotton and Chocolate yesterday knowing they had a fabric sale. I found some Chanukkah fabric sitting right next to some Christmas fabric. The Chanukkah fabric didn't have a sale pice, but the Christmas fabric did. We asked a salesperson if the Chanukkah fabric was on sale also, and she said she would look it up. She said it wasn't on sale, but she could give us 20% off. I told her that the Christmas fabric was marked 40% off. She said it was, but the Chanukkah fabric was not. She said the best she could do was 20%. I find this action completely OUTRAGEOUS AND PREJUDICE. They charge people buying Chanukkah fabric 40% more than those buying Christmas fabric????? I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP AGAIN. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!

I've been to many quilt shops in the US (at first reluctantly, now I'm the one driving out of my way to check out new stores) and this store really impressed me. It's larger and more spacious than I'm used to independent quilt shops being. It has a huge room for classes. Good quality fabric. Pretty quilts on display. Reasonable prices. The staff doesn't hover over you - you can peacefully browse and the staff is ready for you at the cut table or register whenever you're ready. Definitely stop by this store if you're a quilter.

Came here looking for guidance on finishing a vest. The ladies working were so helpful and kind. One even learned how to sew in 4H just like me!! Love this store and their employees
