I ordered a mantel clock on 11/17/2021. It is now 02/22/22 and I still have not received it. I tried to speak to an agent on-line but the menu keeps repeating itself and does not let you through. The on-line service only says it is "in transit". The e-mail messages say the same thing. Terrible experience.

Paid for my clock in full in the amount of $1,238.88 in February 2022, I have not received the clock as of May 23, 2022. Cannot contact them because the answering service asks for my phone number. Have yet to receive a phone call.

Like others, I wish I could give 0 or negative stars. First thing is, they cherry pick their reviews. I have tried to submit several reviews on my purchase but none get published on the website. If you take a look around their website, you'll noticed that almost ALL of the reviews are 5 star but on other websites like google, they have TERRIBLE reviews.1/23/22: I placed an order for a $350 clock2/28/22: Clock arrived (finally) but it was the wrong color. I ordered black but they sent brown. I contacted the company via email which they auto sent me a message that I was responsible for the cost to ship the clock back. After several days of calling, I finally got a person on the phone who fixed the issue and sent me a return label.3/18/22: I shipped the clock back to clockway3/21/22: Clockway received the clockToday (5/16/22): I still have not received a refund. I try calling their customer service almost every day. I have filed a compliant through the BBB, hoping they can help me get my money back.Save yourself the time and do business elsewhere.Update (5/31/22): I received a letter in the mail that this company is filing for Bankruptcy. Must be why they didn't respond to my many messages.

Just received a letter informing me that Gift Theory field for bankruptcy chapter 7. I feel this company defrauded many of us by the view of it. How could they take our money without delivering a product? They up and left with their pockets filled. I will be writing a letter to the fraudulent bankruptcy office in California.I made my purchase online on 1/28/22 for 42.5in Wide MILLER DELUXE CHM5056 Aged Auburn Finish Curio. They immediately charged me total price $1,383.69 before delivering goods. They took my money and so many others money without providing service or goods, that's fraud. ?

I think the company is a ripoff. We ordered a cabinet 3 1/2 months ago (for over $1000, which they have) and have yet to get a response from them whenever we call/email. I would advise everyone NOT to order anything from them. Even though this comes across with a "thumbs up" , I would give it a "thumbs down" if I knew how. I can't even get on their website.--Since I wrote this original review, I have found out that they have declared bankruptcy. So much for that money.

I too am a victim of their fraud. Received same letter as others about their CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY! Am very, very angry!! Ordered 3 items totaling $4,300+ in March 2022. No items ever received and now this!What scammers they are!! No sooner ordered the 3 items and they charged my credit card immediately! Faster than lightning! Of course, same as rest of you, I could not get a live person just repeat loop recordings.I have always been so careful not to fall for any scams but fell right into their crooked trap! Started having a bad feeling about them after a month of no deliveries.Too late once you order and pay! Too late!!!

Ordered an expensive curio cabinet in mid March. Nothing but e-mails saying when we will the get the item. Couldn't ever get anyone to answer the phone or respond to my e-mails. Paid in full two weeks later, still no product. Just got a letter today, they have filed for bankruptcy!! Nothing but frauds!!

Clockway is a joke. Bought a clock from them on mother days. Never got the product. Got a letter from them saying that they had to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy and they basically screwed me out did not give me the product or my money back and they shut down their website so you can't complain to them. Would love to give them a 0 star rating.

Whatever you do, DO NOT give a dollar to this company!! They don't have bad customer service, they have NON EXISTENT customer service. You call and nothing you can do gets you to a real person. I placed and order and requested an update, and NEVER heard back. $1300! just to never receive even an update.

DO NOT BUY FROM CLOCKWAY/GIFT THEORY. My experience the same as so many here. Piece was purchased in January was supposed to be delivered in February then March then April then May. Nothing. In months of calls I managed to reach a live person a couple of times who assured me piece was in the warehouse, then shipped, then with the delivery company. Nada. More recently, no answer but "a commitment" to contact me soon. After numerous entries of my information into their 'system' no call no email as promised. Zero. Now the phone is constantly busy and their website is down. Zip. Zilch. I can only assume they are liars and frauds. We have filed a complaint with the BBB. Next step filing a lawsuit and a criminal complaint. I have little hope I will recover my money.

I made a purchase online 12-27-21. My card was charged immediately and I received a confirmation email. It is now almost 5 months later and I still have not received my item. I have called MULTIPLE times only to be place on eternal hold ore disconnected. I have been lucky twice in actually getting to speak to someone. The first time mid to late april) i was told the delay was because I had requested in home delivery and I was told there were limited number of people willing to do that. When i said they’re could leave it outside they said i should receive it in 7-10 business days. Well that came and went w/o a peep so I filed a complaint w the BBB (which had SEVERAL complaints for this company), which I still haven’t received a response for and supposedly they are suppose to respond w/in 10 days. After another eternal hold phone call I had to eventually hang up but to my surprise someone called back. She looked at the notes and confirmed that my item was on the delivery truck and she was sure i would receive a call that day, Friday, but if not, then definitely by Monday. That was 2 weeks ago and still I have not received a phone call or email and am out a few thousand dollars. I would leave zero if it was an option…the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service EVER!!!

We ordered a cherry bar 9 months ago. We have never received the bar. I have tried and tried to call:email them. They will not answer their phone. I have requested our money back.. Nothing!!!! I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they haven’t gotten response. Thus is a total scam!!!!! My next step is to contact the fraud division of the police.Don’t order from them. They are a hoax!!

Zero stars! This is a fraudulent company! Please trust these negative reviews and do not purchase from them! I spent over $1300 and it’s been over 2 months and I have NOTHING!They told me over a month ago it was shipping in a week. I have requested a refund, but now they are not responding. The merry go round you are put on while on hold is true! They do not answer! Now they are not responding to emails! Please don’t buy from this company, you will regret it!

If there was a way to give 0 stars, I would. 6 weeks and still no clock...So, I was finally able to cancel my order, after it appeared that I was going to receive my clock any time soon. Customer service was stepping all over each other sending mixed/conflicting email messages about what was going on with my order. I finally canceled. I'll never do business with them again.
