Randall truly saved the day! I came in needing my hair done before heading to Vegas for my husband’s work event. I was a little nervous since my hair is naturally curly, and I was worried the humidity would cause frizz. But even three days later, my hair still looks fantastic! I’ve been using dry shampoo, and it’s held up beautifully. Randall is an expert—professional, meticulous, and a total perfectionist in the best way. Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back.

Went here at a suggestion of a friend and got the most amazing highlights from Travis - very knowledge and professional. Signed up to do monthly plan color for roots knowing Travis or anyone here will do a great job and keep me looking great!!

I don’t know how he did it, but Travis in Westlake Village managed to rescue my at home color botch job which ended in my hair being several different colors. He suggested the perfect color and did a fantastic job. So very grateful to him.

I came to Madison Reed Westlake for balayage, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. After my first appointment, my hair was noticeably uneven on both sides, so I went back to have it fixed. While the stylists were very kind and accommodating, the correction left my highlights looking choppy. On top of that, I was at the salon for hours, which made the process even more exhausting.
I really appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the effort to make things right, but the results just weren’t what I expected. In the end, I had to dye my own hair at home to even things out. I was hoping for a more seamless and natural balayage, and after two visits, I still wasn’t happy with how it turned out.

I recently visited this location for a hair coloring service, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite clearly communicating my request for a lighter color, the stylist applied a significantly darker shade than what I had asked for. Additionally, I was still charged the full price for the exact opposite of what I had requested to begin with.
I value professionalism and customer satisfaction, and I had hoped for a service that reflected my preferences, but did not get it here.

I have been a regular customer at this location since it's opening. I absolutely love going there! My hair is perfect every time and the customer service is amazing. I have developed a very warm relationship with two colorist there, Garland and Nicole. They both know me by name and I feel warmly welcomed each time I walk in. They know exactly how to take care of my hair but more than that we catch up with what's happening in our lives and I feel much more than a client-closer to a friend! That's what brings me back in twice a month and what makes me recommend Madison's Reed to all my friends and family, especially the Westlake Village location with Garland and Nicole. It's rare to be treated with such kindness, respect and enthusiasm in this day and age. I appreciate them greatly!

I don't color my hair often and sometimes don't know how to articulate what I'd like to get done to my hair. But Garland was great at taking the time to understand what I was looking for and I am beyond happy with how my hair turned out. She had great communication and understanding with figuring out what I wanted to get done and I left feeling confident in my hair, which I haven't felt in a very long time. I highly recommend this location based solely on my experience with Garland.

I just wanted to take a moment to commend Garland at the Westlake Village Color Bar for her outstanding talent as a stylist. In my experience, Garland's level of customer care is both rare and outstanding. I always leave the salon feeling beautiful. I now have a Madison Reed membership, and have my roots touched up twice a month. Garland recommended having a gloss once a month, and it has improved my tone. I always add a Pro Boost treatment to the wash -- Shine is my favorite! I highly recommend the fabulous blow drys, which last for several days. Please share this review with Madison Reed's corporate office, so that Garland is recognized for her exceptional work!

I went to the Westlake Village Madison reed I went early because I'm African-American, with natural hair, however, my stylist,GARLAND, was amazing. She knew exactly what I needed to get the shine and color. She was very professional and friendly, and cared that I was happy with my service. I will definitely return for more services with her. So glad to have found Jennifer! Called the 800# and asked to make an appointment in Woodland Hills and they told me she wasn't working last week. I went into the Woodland Hills salon and they made an appointment for me with someone else and then called me and told me that person was double booked and I could make an appointment with Jennifer in Westlake. (Maybe there could be better communication between corporate and the salons when someone transfers?) Anyway, Jennifer did a great job in mixing the copper color I wanted. (I wonder why Madison Reed doesn't have a good copper color already in the tube?) The balyage is beautiful and root color is so pretty. Thank you, Jennifer!!

I love Jennifer--she is a recent new addition to this location! She is an excellent colorist.. an artist with hair color. My Bayalage turned out fantastic and I have been getting compliments on my hair for days. I also say the color bar model works for me. I travel frequently so it's hard to use traditional hair salons as I have to wait days and sometimes I need a quick touch up...so Madison Reed has a personalized way of keeping your color consistent because the formulas are there in their data system to fall back on, thus I get to grab a hair color for my roots that will be on the same page as being in house with my hair color appointments. I will never go back to the old system of a hair salon.
