I had a very easy time getting supplies for my Eagle Scout Project where I was building a three section rabbit hutch for an elder home with twenty rabbits. The customer service was amazing from John Bryarly, Daniel Gutierrez, April Hernandez, and most of all from their manager Dennis Petty. When I had trouble navigating through the store there were people who were available to help. The pricing of the lumber was good in comparison to other competitors. Overall I actually enjoyed going there and I will in the future if I ever need something.

Today I went in to get seven 90 pound bags of concrete . I didn't have the truck so I had to load them in my car. I have to say the two gentlemen that help me Diego and Juan Delgado didn't whine one little bit they just loaded them. It was really nice to get quick help without them crying about it and dragging their feet. Those two guys need a raise because you picked two great employees.. Thank you very much.

The worst customer service. Called and talked to office and was no help. Talked to front desk twice for assistance but without any help. Came here to buy level laser. The value of the store is going down the drain. Employees not up to standards or knowledge of products or know how to deal with customers. No wonder people order online from other supply stores. Lowe's across the street is way cleaner and more professional. What a sorry excuse of corporate and it shows with their workers. I finally got help from Joe and he was quick in assisting me and getting my shopping done. There should be more people like Joe give him a raise and promotion.

Had a great experience here and now know that great people do work here. I'm working on a breakout panel for my back yard and often go to the electrical area to see if the parts I need are there. They might be but I'm not an electrician and the experience is more like going to the refrigerator over and over only to hope something wonderful has arrived, only to see us the same as 5 minutes ago To my Astonishment I was as approached by Tina, who did not look like a roughneck whatsoever and she asked, can I help you? Blown away, it's never like this at home Depot, you have to hunt someone down, I told her what I was trying to do and she immediately started pulling parts! Wow! I ended up thinking this was still above my head and she hooked me up with home depots network of professional services which I have a meeting with this week. Tremendous value from the observations of the part that employees only stock shelves and seal with customers only if they ask. Wonderful experience.

Today I was extremely grateful to the staff. I had troubles finding several stuff that I need and as i was walking around the store looking confused, a staff member asked if he can help me, and throughout the time that I was there, I had 7 magnificent staff members that helped me. After paying, I was struggling opening the plastic bags to put my new plants in the bags while my son already walked towards the door, I managed to separate some bags and here an older man came and asked if he can ask me a question. I smile and said yes, then he said, why do you need the bag for? Do you really need it? I mean, I saw some people grab a lot of it and I just don't get it what's the need of the bags? It's such a bad quality anyway... puzzled and confused, I said I need the bags for each plants that I bought, ( 3 plants ) and he cut me off by saying, I see, blank blank blank blah blah blah.. it's such a bad quality anyway. I dumbfounded stood there and split second I thought WTH!! I spent some $100+ and some pvc , I can just return the whole darn things. But NO! Just because of this man, I'm not going to make my whole awesome day being ruined. All the other staff were so kind and lovely helping me, this dude will not get to lower the stars for the store and other great staff members ( at the parking lot, I loaded and pack my stuff, I had 5 Home Depot plastic bags. 5 friggin bags to be annoyed and bombarded with rudeness by this man ) Every time I was in the Home Depot, I avoided him because once he helped me and had no clue about what he was doing.

I know the HD does no need "my" review. But, my experience there this morning was above and beyond what I expected. I ordered a bunch of offense material online (posts, quick mix, etc) the night before but the yard lunber i needed was 'in-store' only. So, I drove to the store and went inside and asked if someone could help me load them (I needed a pallet size). "Nick" said, yes, drive around back ad we will have it on a forklift, and you know what, he was ready when I go there! He and a few other gentlemen with forklifts loaded the pallet in my F350 (taking more care than I might have not to do any damage) and then would not accept a "tip" for their efforts. I returned inside to get my "in store pickup order, it was ready and I was out the door in minutes. Everyone was very friendly, the products were correct, and the project is actually done! Thanks to all!

I have ordered refacing in my kitchen which consist of new cabinet doors and new drawers. I placed the order mid April and had to pay in full at that time. I was told there was 12-14 week back order. One week later they came to measure and submit the order at which time I was told there was 14- 16 week delay. I called to check on my order this week and was told it was 20-24 weeks back order. Meanwhile they have my $10,000.00. Getting in touch with these people has been impossible and they were very quick to try and blame anyone else but themselves. I will continue to post on Yelp and anywhere else until this is resolved! DONT USE HOME DEPOT!

This store is horrible! Customer service is non existent, and an employee was playing games on hisphone while leaving his coffee cup on the self checkout where customers are supposed to put the product they are buying. He didn't even look up or move his coffee cup as I used the register. In the parking lot it is filled with RVs and cars "camping" in the parking lot and drinking beers outside their vehicles at 10am. Home Depot just lost another customer. Right down the street their competitors that start with L have great customer service and nobody camping or getting drunk in the parking lot!

This is actually a review for a kind and ardent worker - Charlie! Charlie spotted me struggling with loading an office chair into my x1. I couldn't push the back seats down and I was not sure how to get the item home. Charlie walked up and down the parking lot row and he offered to help. He suggested removing the bottom base and sure enough it worked! Thank you so much, Charlie. You are the reason Home Depot is a better experience!

After spending thousands of dollars I tried to exchange a wall register, the air conditioning wall vent priced at $15. I had used my girlfriend's card and did not have the receipt but the packaging was intact and never opened. Mike said he couldn't do anything for me and after I explained to him he just said sorry and didn't ask any supervisor to help me out. That's the last time I give Home Depot any money and the corporation can think their minimum wage employee for that.

I had a problem with figuring out what LG airconditioning to purchase. I purchased one with which shut my power off in my room. LG was a real headache to get help in advising. After spending over 2 hours with LG getting shoved around and no knowledge I gave up. I then decided to call Home Depot Thousand Oaks, and spoke to Isaac Hernandez in plumbing. He was extremely helpful in figuring out my problem, and advised my why my current portable air shut the power off. So I purchase a portable Air from Home depot with his help. Thank you Isaac. Poor selection on drills. Poor customer service but really good prices. It's better to order online and pick it up at the store, because most of their equipment and tools are old stock or damaged.

sold me a faulty toilet and offered no help basically told me I had to rebuild the toilet or remove it and bring it back at my cost. manager was rude. never going back and will tell everyone about my experience

I ordered an exterior prehung door in March from Home Depot in Thousand Oaks. I paid for the Door, installation service and their miscellaneous items and fees to get the job done. On June 3 the door arrived at the Home Depot. I physically went to the Home Depot in Thousand Oaks 3 times to find out when I will be scheduled for installation of the door, on 3 third visit I was told that Home Depot would be contacting, a week later no response from either the "installers" or Home Depot. On my 4th attempt, I called, 1st I was on hold for about 30 minutes then someone answered then they hung up. I made a second call and waited 15 minutes the call was answered, I asked to speak with a manager "Jessica" was her name. I gave her my order information and she told me a permit was needed and I had to pay extra for it. I am baffled as to this "professional" ability that no one mentioned this before. You would think the "wisdom and experience" between Home Depot and these "Installers" would have provided the important information and they would have gotten this done after the purchase was done. Not in this case. Further waiting further details. No different than using a "fly by night" operation at this point. Who knows what other excuses they will be coming up with!
