This place is just OK. They are EXTREMELY PICKY about what donations they will take, which is a bit mind boggling once you see the various forms of junk inside. If you’re looking to donate, Goodwill is probably an easier choice. If you’re just chopping for junk, this place is just as good as any other. It is in a relatively scary part of town, so be aware of that.

I am so disappointed. I just went to donate my household goods, a full car load of good items to this location. I had boxed and binned up items in categories to make it easier.I pulled up and the guy was clearly unhappy that I had a lot of items (wouldn't that be a good thing that I have a lot of good items to donate?) Upon putting my boxes on the table the guy proceeded to THROW THEM off the table and into the ground. Items broke and fell out and shattered. I literally wanted to cry. He said nothing, and did not say sorry.I'm not sure why he did this, it was totally rude and un called for. I wanted to make it known... if you are looking to donate items and not have them broken right in front of you, go to another location.

The newer employee Josh is so sweet and polite; He went above and beyond to help me with my donations. I was struggling to lift heavy items and he came right over and helped without me asking. It's nice having a strong and helpful person around. What a great addition to this store! So refreshing to see customer service isn't dead.

The Donation Attendee(Josh) was extremely nice and helpful. I had a hard time understanding the "QR code" since they stopped giving paper receipts. He was very patient and showed me how to do it, Thank you Salvation Army.

Why are the people at this location who receive the donations so darn rude? We have consistently donated to Salvation Army over the last 20 years, and I found that this specific location has individuals working that appear to not enjoy what they're doing. It's unfortunate, as I believe, this is an incredible service for the community. Please try to find people who are actually happy to work and receive donations from charitable families.

Shout out to the big man with a beard that helped me with my donations he was very friendly and polite which is a big change of pace, I often come here and these donation workers can't even be bothered to get off their phone or acknowledge my presence. This experience was so much better ?

This store has changed their store hours to 10-6 but it's not on their voicemail, on Google or Yelp. Tried to reach a manager after closing and the voicemail won't accept any more messages. I've made two trips here to find them closed. Very unhappy.

This place is easy to get to, just off Hillcrest road and not too far from freeway ramp. Spacious, clean and great prices. A lot of furniture, bric a brac and tons of clothes. The old man taking donations was very quiet, not a hello, good bye or a thank you but I'm cutting him slack because he was been blasted by the midday sun. I didn't buy anything but I regret not getting the coat/umbrella rack they had. Boo, someone get it, it's super cute and great price. HahaNot the best thrift store I've been but gets credits for cleanliness and organization.

Low rating is for Donations. Can't figure out the reason for the negative vibe when you're the one taking the time and dedication to give THEM your treasures (or junk) and now they growl at you if you get out of your car at the Wait your turn sign. How are you going to know if it's your first time at it's placement? I've had more degrading encounters with the attendants at this site, and I keep forgetting that they use against me the sake of convenience while there are other places to donate. Store: don't recall feeling degraded by the people that work there, the cashiers were always friendly and they did give out coupons. Minus 0 "stars" for donation experiences. One time they dismissed me so degradingly I felt like running my car off the road. Guess that makes their rudeness my doing & fault. Remember: wait until the bumper in front of you has departed before you naively move to open your door. I guess I'm an intruder today. Happens too often generally speaking in this town.
