Make sure to lock down a year lease if they allow you. Some of the current residents have mentioned they've asked to sign something other than a month to month lease and they have been told they can't. (Just word of mouth but not surprising if it is true.) My mom was on a month to month and the rent went from approximately $1,975 to over $2,500 in the span of a couple months. I don't know what the rate is now.There is an inconsistent line of communication from management so make sure to write down notes if there is ever an issue that comes up.There are some renovations being made that look promising so if you wait until they finish to see what you're really getting for the amount you're spending then it could possibly make sense. Management definitely needs to get their stuff together though. The constant change in managers and lack of communication among themselves can be stressful.
