Great make up artists to help you.Today was Saturday and a large woman with dark hair was the manager and had the worst energy in the store. Hard to explain but I rather pick another store she kept talking to me when I walked in on my cell and I could not answer her and she kept giving us unpleasant looks to the customers like she was angry. My friend and I said she ruins the atonshere of this amazing store of make up and the other lovely people that work there. She seems extremely angry. I had to do a review. Pray she gets another position there not so visible in store.

I used the restroom and tried to let an employee, stylist specifically, know that the toilet wasn’t flushing properly and there was no soap in the bathroom. Her response was “it gets like that.” Classy.

Store is pretty limited on shades of foundation and limited on products. Witnessed one of the employees putting a used returned item back on the shelf regardless of how many times it was stated the item was already used.

I got my brows mapped and shaped by the new Benefit brow girl Yazzmin and they turned out phenomenal, and I'm very picky about my brows but she exceeded my expectations!

I've been shopping here for years but always went to Sephora for my foundation since Ulta doesn't carry what I usually wear. The brand of foundation I've been wearing for years changed their formula and it's not doing great on my skin. Plus, the color has been oxidizing and making me look orange at the end of the day which isn't cool. I asked for full coverage foundation recommendations last night at Ulta and the makeup artist suggested MAC Studio Fix. She color matched me perfectly with the first foundation she tried. I am wearing the foundation today and am shocked at how well she color matched me. I've never had anyone that worked at a makeup counter able to match my skin right off the bat and able to suggest the right foundation for my skin and the coverage I need. I wish I got her name so I could thank her! I shop at Ulta for all of my other beauty product needs so it'll be nice to be able to pick up my foundation there now as well :)

I love Ulta, especially their Thousand Oaks location, they always have such a great selection and wide variety and all the workers are so sweet and knowledgeable, even employees who weren't specifically helping me, I could hear how personable and great they were with helping other clients and giving information as well. Jasmin was very sweet and amazing at colormatching, she got it perfect immediately! Everyone else who I didn't get the name of was also very nice and helpful!

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! Called in to see if they could put a product on hold for me, and the manager, Amber, was SO rude over the phone and stated she could not hold the item. Called the ULTA in Oxnard for the same request & no problem, they were able to hold the item for me. Mental note: don't spend your money at this location.
