This is my favorite post office! I live and work in the area, so swinging by is a breeze! Today which is December 20 five days before Christmas. I went into the actual post office and there was no line. It’s amazing. They have the kiosks working efficiently and smiles on all of the peoples faces that work there. I was just really impressed.

Very friendly. Passports should be issued in every state at largest cities. No more DC Monopoly Control.

Drop off packages with pre-paid label. Handed a guy 3 boxes with $100+ worth of value inside. He proceeded to throw the boxes in the bin. Threw them like he was shooting a 3 pointer...

You guys are awesome! I'm always impressed with how quickly you guys move people through the line, that you have others come out to assist people that are just picking up a package and how every has such a great attitude! I even get call backs from supervisors when I have a question that someone can't answer. Thank you for all that you do!

I never liked the attitude of most of the people who work there. THe last several years it has super improved! I don't know if there is different management, but kudos....I want to mention the people who work there because they work hard, pleasant, knowledgeable, and kind.Romina AlexBrandonMiltonRobertThere is also a young woman there who is in training. She was wonderful

Average post office service , but better than most. This location, I'm pretty sure, has 24-hour access to PO boxes and the self-service kiosks. That's pretty hard to find these days

No line and opened earlier than I expected. Staff was helpful in making sure I got my express package scanned in.

Hands down one of the best post offices I have ever been too. They are kind and helpful every single time. No long waits. Fully-staffed and location has two self-service kiosks

The people who work at this location are very kind and helpful. We had to mail out an important pack of information to renew my husband's green card. They were patient and helped us ensure we were using the right envelope and formatting everything correctly. They were also welcoming of our loud infant who came with us.

To rate the Thousand Oaks area postal service unreliable would be an upgrade for them. Somehow, they always misdeliver or just don't deliver the mail. Except for all the junk mail, that is. That's basically the only thing you can rely on. Today for instance, I went to my mail box just to find out that a check from my financial institution wasn't delivered, even though it's on my "informed delivery" for today. Once before about a year ago, they actually lost once of my paychecks, and I had to wait another week for a replacement, which arrived promptly and accurately via Fedex. Additionally, I'm always returning neighbors mail, which is constantly misdelivered to me.

Employees here are genuinely d*** and uncoordinated. Rude and passive aggressive.

I received excellent customer service at The Thousand Oaks post office from Robert on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He went the extra mile to find Hanukkah stamps for me in the back ( none were available at the counters) and I’m grateful for his wonderful service. Thank you.

I had a package that required a signature, so I scheduled a redelivery on Saturday Oct. 29. Got confirmation, Saturday rolls around and no package. I check the mailbox at noon, mail is there, no notifications, nothing more. I call the 800 postal number and all they can do is confirm the package is scheduled for delivery. Recommend I call the post office direct, great idea, but they don't answer their phone! I start driving around the neighborhood, I find the postman who confirms he has no package. Thankfully, he calls a number that someone answers the phone. Yep, the package is sitting at the post office. So I drive to the post office to get my package.Saturday is my only day off, and it was being wasted waiting for a package that was not going to come. Had the post office answered their phone, it would have saved me the time and the cost of fuel searching for my package. And what alternative was there, schedule a delivery for next Saturday, go without my item for another week, and would the package show up then?It is not conceivable to me with the modern tools we have available to increase efficiency that the post office makes simple and careless errors like this.Certainly not becoming of a "State of the Art" United States Agency!
