We stopped in for lunch on the way home from Santa Barbara for sandwiches. The cashier made us delicious sandwiches and when we didn't eat all of it, offered to wrap the rest of it in foil and pack it in ice for us since we had a long drive ahead of us. We were looking for a quick stop for lunch and found better than expected sandwiches and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

I got a 3 sandwiches, 2 chips, 2 drinks, 4 tacos, and a euro chocolate bar for $40 something The food is good , fresh and reasonably priced bout $8.99 a sandwich, $1.49 a taco. It's a deal and hidden gem with all the international candy!

I've tried the tacos and a couple of the sandwiches here including the Italian. Every time I have been very pleased the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The store has a great selection of goods with nice ambiance and a friendly staff.

Tried the deli for the first time. The bread is a ciabatta which was a little dense so I didn't like that but that's more of a preference thing. Good amount of deli meat in the sandwich. The only negative is that I got an end piece of tomato I had the #19 which is a classic chicken. As you can see from the photo, the bread is a bit on the thick side. It had deli chicken, prosciutto, avocado and sweet peppers. I'd like to go back and try a different sandwich and maybe a different bread if they have that. The manager or owner was very polite and The sandwich was made quickly. The rest of the market is full of wine and snacks and frozen goods

Incredible market. Fresh and delicious sandwiches, excellent beer and wine selection. Last minute groceries are plentiful. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!

I love the Village Trader Market! Great sandwiches and street tacos made to order. Huge selection of wine & beer! Great to be able to have a local market in DV.

This place has been underwhelming every time I've came (at least 5 times). Bland breakfast burritos with no potatoes available and sandwiches with a ton of bread and minimal filling/meat. It's great to have an option in what's otherwise a basically dead shopping center next to Godspeak but it's not really worth your time. It is cheap, though.

The BEST and cheapest meat on the market. Always a fair price. If you're a struggling college student this is the place to be, you can easily get a 12" sub for $7 or an amazing taco for 2.50

Great tacos and pickles!! Super little market with all things you could need. But, the tacos and salsa are very yummy and hit the spot. Staff is friendly.
