Market is clean and well stocked. Bought some meat the other day that was so tough we couldn't cut it with a knife, let alone eat it.

Sorry. Prices are way higher than Ralph's up the street. Staff is friendly, but they have 9(?) registers and you're lucky if TWO are open. The Express lanes are NEVER open anymore.
I don't believe it's a lack of help but I do think it's management cutting back to save payroll.
I think it's so rude not to have 4-5 registers operating at dinner time and weekends. Sometimes only one lane open and not even a bag person there to help.

What can be said about grocery shopping at a chain store? They have almost everything you need, but maybe not what you want. The store is clean and service is polite a majority of the time.

Worst money order service...., I used to love buying money orders here because they are cheap and I work across the street. It's convenient for me, but these past two visits have been extremely unpleasant. Last month I was told by a supervisor, Darlene, the machine was broken, this time I was told by that same supervisor she needed to fill out a form and required to give her my ID because I had arrived at the same time as another customer who happened to need a money order, as well?!?!?!?! Mind you I had already waited about 10-15 mins for her to supervise the employee who would be doing the money orders. I normally don't get upset but both times her attitude was not necessary. I didn't provide my ID and walked away. Never have I been asked for my ID to purchase a money order.... I would have given it to her but I was aggravated wit the whole situation. Will definitely not be going to this Vons again

I had the good fortune to work with this Vons' Deli Department this past Thanksgiving. In the past, I have always bought my sliced turkey breast for our company's Thanksgiving lunch from Ralph's in Westlake but this year, thankfully, Ralphs could not help me because I ended up working with the most wonderful people: Evie, Jason, Marvin, and Nichole. Their dedication to Vons Westlake Village customers was hard to miss - it's the perfect combination of professionalism, intelligence, warmth, respect, and dedication to customer service that can be hard to find these days!! I believe Marvin is the manager of the department and, as you clearly know, "Outstanding managers can create a profound ripple effect in their organizations. Their behavior, integrity, and treatment rubs off on others for the better. Not only do they directly impact their team members, but they indirectly affect others. The people they supervise and manage frequently move on to lead others, often in a way that emulates how they were supervised." I plan to make this Vons my regular grocery stop from now on! A big thank you to Evie, Jason, Marvin, and Nichole for easing my nerves and making everything perfect!

I don't come to this Vons often as there is another Vons closer to my place, but my experiences here so far have been nice. Parking is never an issue since the location is in a strip mall. They do a great job in making sure there are enough carts up front for customers. The place is clean whenever I come. There are self checkout stations available. However, this afternoon when I came here, I went to get checked out with a cashier as I purchased many groceries, and the lines for the registers were fairly short. The grocery bagger was super friendly and even asked if I needed help with loading the groceries in my car. I declined, but I really appreciated the offer; I can't recall the last time anyone at a grocery store offered to do that for me. The cashier was more quiet, but he was still cordial. While I was shopping, I noticed there were certain items low in stock like the freshly made salsa and hummus made in the store. Still, the location offers a nice variety of groceries. All in all, this is a great Vons to check out if you are in the area.

Guys if you want good quality product, good customer service and good selection this is the place to go.. yes it's a bit more expensive but we'll worth it. Go bless
