Worst food bar. Everything is always burnt, dry, cheap tasting. Also, their premade chicken bowls always have undercooked rice that's hard as a rock. Careful with your teeth. The cooks are too comfortable over there. Poor quality all around.

Whole Foods is widely known for its various healthy foods, including fresh produce, fruits, and more. While it offers a great selection of nutritious options, there have been some concerns about the availability and pricing of its hot bar in the evening. Here are some key points to consider: Whole Foods has a great selection of fermented foods like sauerkraut, which are rich in probiotics that promote healthy digestion. The store offers a variety of whole grains, such as oats, brown rice, and barley, which are healthier alternatives to refined grains. Whole Foods emphasizes the importance of consuming real, unprocessed foods and avoiding additives like sugar, artificial ingredients, antibiotics, or hormones. The store provides a range of plant-based proteins, such as tofu, nuts, and legumes, which are essential for a balanced diet. Whole Foods offers a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, which are important components of a healthy diet. The store also offers minimally processed foods, such as frozen produce, which can be a convenient and healthy option. The Whole Foods hot bar has a reputation for being delicious and offering a range of options. However, it's important to note that the hot bar's price can be higher, with prices starting at $8.99 per pound. I have noticed that the hot bar may not be adequately stocked in the evening, which can be disappointing when paying the same price. Despite these concerns, Whole Foods remains a popular destination for those seeking various healthy food options. The store offers an extensive range of fresh produce, whole grains, plant-based proteins, and more, making it a great choice for individuals looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

It is the only Whole Foods in Thousand Oaks, so you dont really have a choice...just know when you enter, you will feel like you are being watched. If you hold an item in your hand for more than a few seconds, someone will run up to you and tell you to put it in the cart. There's people standing in each aisle looking at you. Self checkout is even worse; you wonder if you're scanning correctly or moved in a suspicious way. It's not an entirely welcoming atmosphere.Get your items, get out quickly. And no, that feeling that you did something wrong is not your fault. It's the just the environment at this location. Good luck!

I'm usually one to never get on here and write bad reviews, because maybe sometimes someone is having a bad day. In this case I was very disappointed and upset with my visit. I looked on the Whole Foods Website and I was very interested in the 12 days of cheese sale. Now I'm not really a cheese person but I wanted to explore my palette. I needed help learning about the different cheeses. I decided to ask a gentleman by the name of Greg that works in the cheese department for help.( bad choice). The minute I went up to him he was very rude, when I had asked him for help, he let out a huge sigh. As if I was bothering him. I had asked if he could help me with the 12 days of cheese sale. He then walked over and just pointed and said "they're right there" and attempted to walk away before I could get a question in. I had then asked what he recommended for someone trying new things. He responded with a monotone of "they are all good". He did not really help me, he was very rude once again and I just felt as if my presence and questions annoyed him and that truthfully he didn't even really want to help me. I've always had good experiences at this store but that day was just different. I didn't buy any cheese and I left empty handed. Truth be told, I don't know if I will continue to shop in the cheese and wine department anymore.

I love whole Foods because, I find some of their foods are economical on my budget. The store is always clean and the staff are always tentative and polite. And I love the variety of food choices when I want to make a quick meal or a full course for my family. There great!
