“Neat spot for groceries, wine, beer, etc. Staff were very helpful & polite. A fair bit of organic food. Not your typical grocery store. Did find an interesting Pinot Noir called Moon X for $6.99, of all things. Wouldn't normally buy this, but worst case scenario, you're only out 7 bucks. It turned out to be not too bad. Fruit forward, good acidity, soft tannins, medium finish. Worked well with grilled Sockeye Salmon. Went back to Trader Joe's several times during our 16 days in Palm Springs late Jan, early Feb.”

“We were in the store today and shop there frequently. Yesterday and today we came in contact with Carlos in the meat dept. He is always so polite and willing to help - even if its not for the meat dept. he cut some amazing short ribs for us yesterday that im sure other meat departments would have turned down. You have many great employees but in my opinion, Carlos is the best and you should be proud and thankful for an employee of his caliber!”

“This small store in a strip mall is very popular as many customers were coming and going while I was in there. I came in to purchase our office pool lottery tickets. The cashier was very nice and had a good attitude. I had to advise him that he mistakenly undercharged me for the lottery tickets, he was very grateful for my honesty.”

“I received a promo email from Gelson's on Dec 26,2023. In the promo, it had a discount code (Gelsons$20) for online orders of $20 off $50 in online purchases for pickup. It clearly stated that the code could be used three times. It shows no expiration period. On the 27th, I ordered, used the code and received the discount and picked up my items. Today I went to order, input the correct code and was shown that the code was invalid as it had been used by me. Yes, once, not three times. The manager has called to relay that there was a tech issue with their Instacart partner. Unfortunate but happy that I brought to their attention. The issue has been fixed.”

“I love this store. They are very nice. The older parent is not very friendly but their old skool and know in this city some folks just re not right. Prices are reasonable and they have everything from hygiene to toilet paper and they serve hot food. Nor do they cheat you. Like kings shorting a quarter here & there adds up. “This is not a food mart - it's a TREATS MART. You won't find much food here - even less than a small 7-Eleven - but boy do they have treats. Snacks from varied sours to imported Mexican milk pies. Well in that case I highly recommend the Palm Liquor and Deli to you. They make a great sandwich, mind you it's not a New York style deli, but they do an excellent job.
