I highly recommend Merit Moving Systems! They made our move such an easy one from start to finish. Joe, Alyson, Carlos, and Ted are a phenomenal team, well experienced, and a joy to work with. We had a complex move that went off without a hitch. Their quote was a reasonable one and I ended up paying exactly as quoted without any additional fees or charges. We had the BEST moving experience with this team. I was moving from LA to TN, and the whole process was smooth from beginning to end. They did a video consultation and were very communicative throughout. I felt like I actually knew the people helping me and they cared how things turned out. My van arrived as expected with nothing broken or missing. Just all around amazing service — I’ve been burned by moved before so I know how bad it can be. The price they quoted at the start was the price I paid. So few moving companies can say that!!

Merit Moving Systems and Alyson Mattox are outstanding! I’ve personally used Alyson for my own local moves over the years and have continued to recommend her to my clients. Without exception, the feedback I receive is always the same: “We were taken great care of and so glad you referred us.”
Most recently, I coordinated a move for a client relocating from Palm Springs to Minnesota. It was a unique and complex job: a large estate where all personal belongings needed to be packed, while most of the furniture remained to be sold with the home. On top of that, items from multiple local storage units had to be picked up and combined with the shipment, and several large art pieces required custom crating.
From start to finish, the process was seamless. Honey, the estimator, provided a clear and accurate bid; Alyson coordinated the packers and specialized crating team; and the moving crew handled everything with professionalism and care. The delivery in Minnesota was equally smooth, with everything arriving safely and on time.
Every step reflected their commitment to professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine customer care. I’ll continue recommending Alyson and Merit Moving Systems to all my clients!

From the estimate being right on target. To the assigned packing dates and loading times and dates. Bringing shipping contaners, packing, wrapping, care ilin handeling of $5,000 pictures and expensive furnishings. Everything was skillfully handled with care, respect and the protection of all my personal belongings. Delivery time was made aware to me well n in advance and within in an hour of arrival. the driver and movers were quick to unload, friendly and just a very nice group of guys. Everything went perfect in my move, not one hickup!! So thank you so much Merit Moving Systems of Thousand Palms, Ca. I would highly recommend this moving company weather moving local or across country as I did. A BIG shout out to a great well organized moving company.!ih by the way, if your shipping you autos, Merit will also help you with that move, in consjunction with Allied Auto Movers and a shout out to Allied also, great job with delivery and gandeling if my auto. Unbelievable experience in today's world. I can't express enough how impressed we were with the professionalism, quality of service and all around incredible experience we had with this outfit. The estimator was dead accurate and responsive to all of our needs, the move coordinator ensured all aspects of the move were handled by all parties in perfect sync, the warehouse team went above and beyond, the moving crew was impeccable both at pickup and drop off, and the driver was incredible.
I didn't think a move across the country could be this easy, much less have this level of service and coordination. These guys are legit, reasonably priced, over the top with customer service and all around great people that care about you, your move and your belongings.
If you need moving services, stop looking around and just go with Merit.

We were very satisfied with our move using Merit Moving Systems and we highly recommend them. They were able to accommodate the specific date and time we needed, they seamlessly arranged the appropriate street permits to fit their large truck at our busy street, and they did a fantastic job of wrapping our furniture with protective blanket covers (including taking apart the large beds). We did not find any dings or scratches when our furniture arrived thanks to their meticulous work. We were also able to receive delivery of our furniture on time as they promised.

We had the best experience I could hope for with this company! Our first dealing was with Honey! Who came to our home to give us a quote for our move. Then because we add some items and took others off she came back to make sure all our needs were filled. Next we got Alyson who to care of booking our very complex move. When I say complex I mean a dumpster fire! The people buying our home wanted a 20 day escrow. Me trying to be nice said ok. But I hadn't bought a new home and didnt know when that escrow would close. Aylson made sure to send us FRANK! THE MAN! hands down the best driver, boss and crew you could hope for. They packed and loaded our stuff, put it on a SECURE trailer and held it for us for almost 3 weeks because our escrow ran into problems. The one problem I didnt have to worry about was my stuff. I knew it was safe, secure and in Franks capable hands. When my new homes escrow closed, Frank was there with a great smile, incredible crew and made sure everything was place and put together where my wife wanted it. Yes you pay for the service, but the class is thrown in for free and they give that way! Class act all around! Thank you for our move!

I hate doing this because the manager and office staff were amazing. However upon arrival many of my boxes were crushed.i mentioned it several times to the movers and no response. They just ignore you. My dad said it looks like they jumped on the boxes. They rush you through signing and there is no way they would actually wait for you to open your boxes and chexk things out. I had a lot of boxes it couldnt be do e in a day. I had three extremely old sentimental pieces of glassware that were broken. Not that these ate items that have successfully been packed, moved and unpacked a minimum of 8 times as they were from great great parents, some from Italy and ive moved at least 4 times since i had them. If i could load pictures of the boxes i would. I know they would not reimburse you. Now that ive gone through my boxes I also realize im missing my box of school supplies again a bummer as I moved to a super rural area where that will be difficult abd expensive to replace. Like I said office ans management was ok. Of course there's also some breakdown in the system because apparently the driver throws a few bucks at random people at the site to help unload so they probably won't care a lot about how to handle your stuff.

Merit Moving Systems gave me an accurate estimate and showed up on the day of the move on time. Everything was loaded and unloaded without any problems. It was helpful that they take credit cards for payment. I would definately recommend Merit Moving Systems.

We originally had low expectations when moving from SoCal to TX, hearing horror stories online about things going missing or getting broken in transit. We were completely surprised by how smooth the process was, from the full pack and updates from the truck driver about ETA, to the final unloading and reassembling of all our furniture. Every person we talked to was helpful and professional.

When moving from LA to Illinois, I was terrified of finding an unscrupulous moving company. Luckily, I went with Merit Moving Systems through United Van Lines. This is one of the rare trustworthy companies that you can feel Ok giving your possessions to.
From beginning to end of my move, Alyson and the rest of the team was very professional and accessible. They sent a team of 3 to efficiently wrap up all my furniture in a 2-bedroom apartment and 20 boxes. The whole thing took only 2 hours!
The container-based pricing model helped give us peace of mind regarding how much we would pay in the end. We also had some flexibility on what to send even up until moving day. It also ensures minimal unpacking and repacking of containers, so we could rest assured that our items would be Ok.
Our TV (65’), a delicate paper lamp, and multiple air filter devices were all handled with care and undamaged. Delivery occurred exactly when scheduled, down to the hour. Thank you Merit for making a highly stressful move quite a bit easier!

I had a great experience with Merit Moving Systems as they helped with my move from LA to the Bay. The entire process was extremely smooth, efficient, and timely, starting from my virtual survey and estimate with Joe, to coordination with Alyson, and pick up and delivery of my belongings with their drivers. I was kept updated throughout the process and they were easy to reach and responsive to any additional questions when needed. Would definitely use them if I were to move again.
