Its clean. Showers clean. There are some homeless around but there nice. They dont bother anyone. Lot is clean. Store clean. Customer service is A+

Nice place good service, very polite staff. BUuuuuuuut I was impressed by one person, her name is Amelia, beautiful girl with brownie eyes. So she is Psychic. She can tell u without asking or guess what u want or something else I don’t know how it works but. No words. That person making place. Thank you Pilot for your service but pilot consist of employees. Thank you employees from drivers.

Prehistoric Policies & Prehistoric Attitudes – Avoid This Flying J Circus
So I made a reservation through the Flying J app — you know, that thing from the 21st century? It asked for my truck info, company name, shoe size, probably even my childhood trauma. I gave them everything.
Then I park, thinking I’m set. Nope. Enter Michelle — a Flying J employee with the grace of a wrecking ball — pounds on my truck door like the repo man during a seizure. Wakes me up and says, “You gotta move.” No hello. No checking first. Just straight-up caveman energy.
I tell her, “I have a reservation,” and this dinosaur has the nerve to say, “You still gotta go inside and get a receipt.”
Excuse me? What kind of Flintstones fossil system are y’all running? Why even have an app that collects truck info if Michelle still needs me to walk in and print out something from the Stone Age?
Let me guess — your computers are powered by coal and your customer service policy is carved in rock tablets?
Instead of checking the app like a normal human in 2025, Michelle and whoever trained her decided harassment and denting truck doors was the more efficient route. Classy.
Here’s a tip for Flying J management:
• If you’re going to offer digital reservations, use them.
• If you’re going to train employees like Michelle, at least teach them basic human decency and the revolutionary concept of verifying before pounding on someone’s sleeper like the police.
• And for the love of all diesel gods, modernize your system so tired truckers don’t get woken up over your own lack of tech literacy.
Flying J, you need less Michelle and more common sense.

Night i had to wait for almost 1 hour for shower they said he is on break and next morning same thing they said he is on break and had to make me wait for almost one hour

I do not recommend it, the service is very bad, I paid for a shower and then they told me I had to wait 1 to 2 hours because they did not have staff for cleaning, they also did not return my money, the cost of diesel is more expensive, so we paid for it to be good service, but it is not…

Amelia has great customer service ! She answered all questions that I had. Also I’m staying the night and I’m not from California and she recommended me some spots to eat and went out of her way to give me different directions of the restaurants that she recommended me. Thank you Amelia

Amillia at flying j 765 has an outstanding customer service. My experience in that store on Sun 6/22/2025 at 2:45pm was amazing she is very smiling and skilled and greet everyone. She goes above and beyond everyone needs including the wonderful pizza she made me that day Way to go Amillia you make every truck driver here happy
