Trees that take your breath away. Ignore the tourists, ponder the 2000 year old magnificent beings, thank your higher power that you were privileged to witness them before human beings annihilate the few remaining trees. These creatures are more than a tourist attraction...people NEED trees, trees don't need people at all. So please act accordingly.

Plenty of parking on both sides of the street and the museum itself is pretty cool. There's restrooms here as well. And a short hike to amazing views, especially if you're passing by around sunset and don't wanna miss it. There's a very short hike to see an amazing sunset

It wasn't open because of the government shutdown. I was very disappointed that we couldn't get chance to go through it.

It’s a very little museum that lets you learn about the sequoia and the surrounding national. Very informative and allows you to understand the park itself. It is quite small for a museum and a bit outdated. Nonetheless, it is free to enter and there are park ranger there to provide you any question and guide you if you needed help. Also, there is gift shop located inside for you buy souvenirs but the selection at the time I went is limited because it was busy.

We really enjoyed visiting this place during our camping trip last week. It had been many years since I last visited this museum. My niece who had never been camping, was in awe and thoroughly interested in all the exhibits and information available at this special museum. Quite educational for all ages, it's also free with plenty of parking and appeared to be stroller and wheelchair friendly. The whole place had been upgraded with new things. The grounds here have good photo spots. I bought a hair band in their gift shop and wore it a lot on that trip.
