Don't buy the labubus, they're fake. They are scamming people big time. Advidersting in front of the store and everything. got scammed for 90$. The real ones on popmart are 30$. Scalpers will charge 60$. But this place is beyond that. They are selling fake lababu for 90$ and over 100$. Beware that this place is a scam. 100%. Shame on the employees for treating this like it's authentic. But when I got home I realized i got scammed

Idk why They thought i stole something from this cheap store, i just came in with my sister and when i was walking out one lady stopped me and said did you grab the stockings which i have no idea what that is, but the point is that she accused me of stealing when i did not at all, so that’s very rude and unprofessional, if you don’t have proof or know 100% don’t say anything THANK YOU!

I came here on my break as I work in the mall just to see what they have and I bought about 3 things and went to the register area to check out. Waited for about 2 minutes with no employee in sight, heard some rustling behind the counter and peaked over to ask if there was anyone who could check me out. The employee, her name Is Suzy btw, gave the craziest stank face I think I've ever recieved and annoyingly said that she will check me out. She kept this attitude almost the whole time and I remained kind to her. Like dam, sue me for wanting to be able to pay for my things after I'm done shopping, god forbid you have to do your job at the place you work at! This review is only for her tho, as I have come across and met many of the nicer workers there whilst taking out trash or if they come buy something from where I work. I also have bad days and can't imagine treating a customer this way, even on my worst days.

[Review #767] 2023-054 I could have sworn I left a review years ago when H was a 7 YO. Aahs was one of the only gift shops in Del Amo Fashion Center that's loaded with all sorts of knickknacks, trinkets, & the kitschy for gift giving; it was my go-to store when my daughter was a toddler through elementary school. She loved coming here to shop for friends & family, or just to browse... she can have lots of fun just wandering the aisles. I have a snapshot of her in gag cat frames. Meow! Touted as the "The Ultimate Gift Store," they truly have pretty much anything & everything in gifts, novelties, party supplies, etc. I remembered H picking out his & her donut mugs for one of her older cousins who loves donut anything. H & her friends went through a Shopkins, Squishmallow, & TY Beanie Babies phase, collecting tens of them before moving on to the next thing(s). The shop has relocated (used to be near the south 2nd Macy's). The new location seems larger with more merchandise crammed in; it's definitely larger than the Westwood store. There's a wall-to-ceiling inventory of Loungefly mini backpacks on the far right; the brand specializes in licensed pop culture accessories, & they are not cheap. The aisles are categorized/grouped by franchise, brand, holiday, & so forth (e.g. Nintendo/Super Mario, Pokémon, Disney, Hello Kitty, Funko Pop, sports teams, superheroes... you name it, they likely got it). H introduced the new shop to her little brother, & now M is in love with Aahs, though he doesn't quite carry the same fascination as H. He's more inclined to browse the Pokémon section. Last spring when he was in kindergarten, he crammed 40+ pages of the handwriting book to earn the privilege of spending his Christmas money; he chose Aahs & bought a Leafeon. He also calculated the sales tax & figure out his change (check his IG: @m.j.lundell for his prized Leafeon); he was 6 at the time. He's been back a few times but they no longer carry the Pokémon battle figures so he's unable to collect all the "eon" characters (i.e. Espeon, Flareon, Glaceon, Umbreon). =( M purchased a Pokémon toy last fall & the shooter didn't work. We went back the next day for a refund (M decided it wasn't a good idea for an exchange since it's not as reliable as the battle figure), but the return process was cumbersome. He ended up exchanging a sort of Pokémon encyclopedia & candy equal in value of the broken toy. I understand during the holidays, the return policy is more strict due to fraudulent returns aka "wardrobing" but this wasn't the case. It's discouraging for him to understand that a broken toy that's not of his doing can't be return without jumping through hoops & hurdles. He hasn't asked to window shop at Aahs since the incident even though we've been back to Del Amo Fashion Center multiple occasions. With Halloween just around the corner, the part of the store will transition to Halloween costumes, masks, wigs, & other related supplies for a spooktacular celebration. The Westwood location usually leases a temporary space nearby that stocks only Halloween costumes. Costumes are fairly competitive with other costume shops, but I'm not sure if you're allowed to try anything on or the return/exchange policy is flexible enough if the size tag is mislabeled. You might want to try Party City, they allow you to try on the costume to see if it fits since the manufacturers doesn't have consistent sizing. Come for the gifts, toys, collectibles, but not for the wearables, or you may find yourself stuck with unwanted clothing or costume.

This store location always has a wide selection of squishmallows. And the employees are always very helpful looking in the back if I can't find the one that I'm looking for. Great selection and great prices
