Art's saved my day. And lots of money.
The AC on my 07 Ford Escape Hybrid wasn't blowing cold and on this car the AC also cools the hybrid battery so my car wasn't happy. I had a good idea what was wrong and it was a $30 part that required the freon removed to replace. I went to a few shops that wouldn't touch it being a hybrid and the dealer wanted to replace the compressor for a few thousand dollars and I wasn't willing to pay that. Art also recommended a compressor because he said he doesn't rebuild them, but I asked him for a quote to just drain it and test and refill it on my return and he gave me an excellent price which I took him up on and had him capture the freon and I left. The next day I returned after doing the repair and he vacuumed the system down and held the vacuum and told me it's not leaking then he refilled it and I think he was surprised I fixed my compressor for a $30 part but it worked and it's literally been 50k miles now and still blowing cold. Thanks Art for working with me and saving my ride.

Rating would be a Zero.
Yesterday took car for ac. I drove the half hour to get there due to good reviews.
When there I was told leak in hose. Ok. Told the price, ok. Come back tomorrow in the morning. Get there, the mechanic to work on my car wasn’t there yet. Not a biggie, but Art tells me then that the mechanic said cash only. And honestly he should have been there by then during the timeframe told to come. I said I could have been told this ahead of time, as cash is not typical form of payment these days.
And the time to drive there. Art said I’m just the messenger. Out of professional courtesy I should have been told this Yesterday as I was to bring car early in morning for time to work on it. I am so put off by this experience with them, so unprofessional.
Starting over to trust I find a fair, professionally run mechanic for ac.

Art did a refrigerant conversion (R12 -> R134a) on my '92 Toyota Pickup. Very reasonable pricing, quick work (completed in about 3 hours), and he even tightened my AC compressor belt while he was at it. AC blows nice and cold and no leaks so far. I'll definitely go back to Art's the next time I need AC or electrical work.

My A/C had not worked for a few weeks and a quote from a big name mechanic company wanted to charge me over $2k to fix it. I called Art’s on a whim and they took me in that day and fixed it within a few hours for less than $400. I feel so blessed to have come here. Having A/C again is so nice and they were honest with me about the issues and prices. They even went as far as to show me what they were talking about, not shooing me away from my car. They didn’t talk down to me as a woman or try to upsell me, just people talking to people. I really appreciate that and will always choose this place over others. Thank you guys! Truly a godsend!

Taking my car to Art's auto to have my A/C recharged was a positive experience. Art got to work right away when I showed up and he checked for any leaks in my A/C after I told him it wasn't blowing very cold anymore (my car is 11 years old). After he said there weren't any leaks in the system he told me the price it would be to recharge my unit (which was a good price) and that it would take about 30 minutes. After I came back in 30 he had it ready to go and the air was blowing very cold again. He even charged me less than what he initially told me since he didn't have to use as much refrigerant as initially expected. Art seems like a very fair guy and I would recommend his A/C services to anyone looking to get theirs fixed before the summer months.

My neighbor recommended Arts Auto when I got back from a road-trip. My A/C had gone out. Art let me know that the compressor that I had replaced at a different location out of state less than a year ago was faulty. Luckily I still had the receipt and was able to get an exchange from NAPA on the compressor. Art put it in and it’s been running great ever since! Art was fair and up front on what to expect. He was very professional.

Man was somewhat polite but had me wait for the other mechanic who was taking too long so I called around and found a better price. ??♀️That's how you lose customers.

Mechanic at Arts totally hooked me up. They were able to fit me in and extract the Freon R132 from my car so I can swap out the ac compressor. They also gave me the procedure on ac flush to do it properly and safely. I tried 4 other shops and they could not do it or have to wait a week and charge me a min hour rate. $20 to remove the R132 From the car.
