Coming into the store as a pregnant mom I was looking for a couple of new items to purchase for my daughter's arrival and 3 women employees did not greet me when entering the establishment nor asked if I needed help looking for anything. As well as advertising the 50% marked items in the store. I seen the sign outside the store which drawn me in to take a look around. No one approached me which made me feel unwelcomed. I left and didn't want to purchase. WONT BE RETURNING!!! Whether your having a good day or not a simple gesture or anything I can do for you let me know ", goes a long way to anyone. Make the customer feel welcomed whether they buy something or not. Who knows they may tell others to come by this particular store to purchase something. This location is a 0/10! Not the first time I heard about the customer service.

I had a terrible shopping experience with Carter's and don't recommend anyone buy items from this company unless you want to be disappointed. I ordered a t-shirt with a sports logo from Carter's for my child for a special school event - a shirt I was only able to find through their website. I made sure to order it well in advance of their shipping timelines for a store pickup in Torrance and the day before the item was supposed to be ready, I found out they cancelled/refunded the order. There was no notification sent to me and I only found out after manually looking up the order. That left me scrambling to find something else for my son so he wouldn't be left disappointed. Completely unacceptable for busy parents who are already tight on time and are paying for an online service that failed to deliver. Do better Carter's.

The only reason I am providing little stars for this review is because one of the ladies that was in the counter asked for the confirmation email and not in a polite way, more of a demanding manner. While the lady that was actually helping me was able to locate the order by last name.

Store was closed, hours aren't accurate as said online. Arrived at 7pm, it's light out and fully closed meanwhile the website says they close at 9pm.

Today I went to make a size change in my baby's clothes and Mrs. Clara and Martha were very kind in assisting me, everything was very organized and a variety of clothes.

Walked the store, neither cashier greeted me or asked if I was looking for something or if they could assist. Both turned their heads. Customer service training is needed

The hours posted online [open at 9am] differ from the actual opening time of 10am. The woman who unlocked the door was on the phone when she opened the store, and was generally rude and unfriendly during the entirety of processing my online order. Honestly, if I had just been there to shop, I would have left.

Super helpful with exchanges! I have received a lot of Carter's kids clothing from relatives--some duplicates or the wrong size/season. The staff was super awesome about helping me exchange without a receipt. I did have to make an account with Carter's. The company policy is to issue store credit for you to use that day when you don't have a receipt for items, so be prepared to spend some time to browse the store to choose something else. Like another reviewer said, they are super patient and they made the exchange process simpler than I thought it would be. The store has a variety of selections for the season and a sale rack organized by size. I would definitely return to the store again!

I am a disabled mama, wheelchair user my entire life. 10/22 I Was in Carter's with my eldest daughter picking out clothes for my 2 younger children. We were profiled as potential shoplifters and followed throughout the store during our entire shopping experience.My 2 youngest were in the car with my husband while we went in cause it started sprinkling and he decided to stay behind. Were in the store and head to the back theres 2 elder ladies shopping i cant get by so i proceed to find something else. We're on boys side Im looking through the rack on the wall for my sons size I grabbed two pants, in hangers, looking around I find more on the level shelf, so I'm going through the stack on the shelf I get the size I need and I have my daughter put the pants back on the wall. Again, I'm on a wheelchair so I have the clothes on my lap. I also have my daughter helping look through the stacks because they're on the bottom and I can't get anything without dropping what I have. I had 3 tops and 3 pants on my lap at the point. I do make eye contact with an employee putting clothes away near us but i didn't think anything of it than that. Not once was I asked if we needed help finding anything I only got stared at.I then have my daughter push me through to the other side while I'm holding everything on my lap. as were passing the register counter I see all employees behind the counter looking at us. In passing i overhear the employees alerting each other saying "they're going to rob us," in Spanish. My daughter starts freaking out asking if I heard them. I asked her what she heard and she tells me, " they said, "they're going to rob us." Im thinking ok I heard that too, but why would I do that where am I gonna go it's raining with all this if it's falling off my lap? I said don't worry. We're on the girls side and Im looking around to see how to get through to the babies section because there's a guy with his smaller daughter and his wife with a stroller, trying to get her to move out of the way because they are heading to pay. I stood where I was so as not to rush them but the longer I stayed there the more I felt uncomfortable and I'd see the employee still lingering behind. Im looking through the pants and I see the matching tops on a level shelf but again I have no way to reach over or get through to see the set up where the tops are. I look behind me to go and the employee is right behind me. At this point I feel uncomfortable and I tell my daughter to go get my husband and to explain whats going on and that I need help. As im waiting Clothes were falling from my lap, and the guy still trying to call his daughter over to him, kindly helps me pick up the clothes. I proceed to put clothes back so i can leave the store. I wasn't interested in shopping there anymore. My husband comes in and the employee is gone. He asks if I had everything I needed and I said no but I just want to leave he takes what I had on my lap and insisted we get what I have and pay because our son did need warmer pants. we go pay, and The lady behind the register acknowledged us but kept us waiting as she continued there fiddling with the rack. She did stop what she was doing with the rack to help other customers before us but for us it a few min later she says someone will be coming to help us. There was a man in a suit there maybe the manager but he had his cell phone out, looking at my husband and so I'm thinking maybe she's keeping us here so he can call police. We paid and that was it. Never once did I have any intention of stealing from the store and never once was I asked if we needed help. I didn't have another way to carry the items.

I see I'm not the only one with a bad experience, the cashiers today in the AM blonde lady all tatted and younger Hispanic girl sucked. We asked about a pricing that was on a tag and the clearance sign and the blonde lady rudely said "no the sign says 8.99$ and up" ok that was one then when I'm ready to check out they are talking about their schedules and how to set up the next person and in standing there just waiting . But as soon as a white person is ready the blonde lady very friendly "hi did you find everything ok?" I guess I would be miserable too if I was stuck working at carters

They have a GREAT clearance sections here! Icome in when my little one is about to move into a bigger size and the clearance rack has always had so much stuff! Clean store, friendly staff

Never ever go here. The 3 girls at the cashier were extremely rude and unprofessional. They were not welcoming when we walked in and were not helpful. I bought something online and they were not helpful when doing the return. Carter’s online is amazing but this location has terrible workers. If you have issues with an order online and come here to fix it just be aware they’re not gonna help you.
