Wow! Just went to Nordstroms and had a little difficult transaction that I thought would be hard for my customer service rep to handle but instead I met the most delightful rep named Hemida. She was able to help me get my needed items and did so with the biggest smile and wonderful attitude! It is a busy time of the year during this Christmas season and it is Saturday too!! What a great experience shopping at Nordstroms where you can still get great service!!!

This is a review for Alejandra D from the cosmetic department. Thank you for your knowledge, honesty, and friendliness, which resulted in me finding something that I have been searching for for three years. I have spoken with at least five other makeup pros in multiple stores ranging from the super elite ones to widely known places, but none could give me the recommendation you did. And connecting over gold and green fairies is sure a fun bonus. THANK YOU, Alejandra D, for making me feel beautiful again and brightening my initially blah evening. So happy and grateful to have met you.

Love, love, love this Nordstrom. Much like everyone else these days, a huge amount of my shopping is done online, however if I do go shopping in person it is always at Del Amo Mall, where this Nordstrom is located.It's fairly sizeable- noteworthy is the huge collection of sunglassess. Overall a five star Nordstrom as it has everything you'd want/ expect, it is is clean, and my staff experiences are always positive. The department I have visisted most frequently over the past year has been the women's intimates- they carry a pretty good amount of Skims brand clothing/ bra's, etc. and I love going in person to be able to try on and find my sizes. Each time has been a pleasent experience and staff members were helpful and nice, unfortunately I forgot to ensure I remembered all of their names in my past visists otherwirse would have mentioned here- Most recently Staff member Celeste in the intimates section was AMAZING. I went searching for a strapless bra and didn't even know where to start. She was so cool to talk to (huge bonus) and the best thing ever, was that she was able to help size me for bra's very quickly, brought all the options directly to me in the dressing room and found my size- no effort on my part. She also informed me about their price matching with brands online!I will definitely come here in person again and again and I hope to see Celeste there :)

Though not quite as spread out as a Sak's fifth avenue would be, Nordstrom still ended up being a less crowded place to shop during Black Friday, than the rest of the very busy DelAmo fashion mall ended up being. As usual, the associates were very nice and helpful. As my wife explained, Nordstrom will price match any item sold at a competitor on the spot, even if the competitor is not located in that mall. Thus, my daughter bought a Free People shirt at a good discount, being able to match what Sak's was offering. It's a good feeling.

My friend and I always visit this Nordstrom. EVERY interaction we have is friendly, helpful, and professional.Today we met Kay in the makeup/perfume/haircare section. She was amazing! We asked her a million questions about different beauty rituals, Clinique products and perfumes. She definitely helped steer us in the right direction and I needed up purchasing multiple items for myself and for Christmas presents- I can't wait to gift my family the products!If you need anything at Nordstrom, make sure to find Kay! She's magic!

The good:I bought ten pairs of nude heels online for wide feet for an upcoming wedding (mostly from Macy's) and none fit. I decided to go into Nordstrom and found the perfect pair of comfy nude heels with Velcro straps that were both comfy and trendy. I also got doc marten mule suede slip ons that were also great for wide feet. I was surprised it was comfy right off the bat and didn't require breaking in. They were $110. I got $10 off because I had a $10 note on my Nordstrom credit card. The bad:My email address is wrong with the Nordstrom card but every time they ask at the cash register to confirm your email address I've been told I can't change it there and must do it online even though the machine is asking me to answer yes or no if my email address is correct. The interesting:I found my heels on the sale rack for $50 but then saw it on the regular display for $75. Apparently, it was temporarily marked down for two weeks for their anniversary sale but put back to their full price. Luckily, they honored the sale price for me because the sticker said it was $50 on the box.

This is regarding their customer service in terms of purchasing.Every time I come here, someone is eager to help me. I know they receive commission on sales, but I've received better help here than other stores that have the same business structure with employees. They help me pick out a bunch of pieces to try on, and when I'm alone, they let me know which dress looks best and don't try to sell me on a piece that obviously looks horrendous on me.

Wanna give a shout out Erica O at the Kylie counter. I ran in today to do a quick return. She delivered customer service the Nordstrom way. She was bubbly, smiling and processed the return in a timely fashion. She shared with us about the Kylie brand and gave us some samples. Overall a great experience.

I have been going to this Nordstrom ever since it arrived in the South Bay almost 40 years ago, first in Redondo Beach and now in Torrance. In the past couple of years I have noticed two things change: First, they have a lot more stock that seems rather junky and faddish, and far less clothing of high quality that is affordable. They stopped carrying my go-to brand that I have loved purchasing for years. Their very high end clothing brands are usually not worth the price. Jewelry I've purchased there that isn't cheap has fallen apart. Second, their service has declined. Nordstrom was once renowned for its service. For the last couple of years, I have experienced rudeness from the sales people. For example the other day I lingered in the clothing, lingerie, and cosmetics departments. There were plenty of sales people around, often in groups talking to one another. Not a single person approached me to ask if they could help. In search for a dress, I passed by a check-out desk and said hello to the salesperson behind it. She saw me, but said nothing and just stood there doing nothing. Yes, I could have asked for help. But none of the sales people seemed to want to be disturbed. This particular Nordstrom is not what it once was. I used to love this store. Now they are no different from Macy's. The way the cheaper clothes were displayed made me feel like I was in Penny's. I strongly suspect theses changes have a lot to do with the effects of Covid in the last three years, and I understand that. I am nonetheless sad that Covid apparently killed what used to be magic about Nordstrom.

This review is specifically for the lady working in the men's shoe department. Not knowing what shoes your employer carries, is not a good look for a SALESPERSON. I saw someone trying on a pair of Nike Air Force 1s but bc they were perusing the sales racks, I didn't know if the store had any other pairs in stock or if this customer was trying on the last pair on sale. So, I asked the female employee, "do you carry plain white Nike Air Force 1s?" To which she promptly replied, "No, we do not." As I was walking away, I finally saw the shoes on the display shelf which I missed seeing prior to asking, but at that point, I decided to take my business eslewhere. Maybe she did know they carried them and she just didn't like me. Who knows.

Michael in the cosmetics department is the BEST! He's such a nice and sincere person and really goes above and beyond for his customers. He is smart , knowledgeable, kind and always makes me smile !!!! Go see him asap

I have been to this Nordstrom numerous times, but this review is for my two most recent visits - 1.4.23 and 12.29.22. In the past, I have done curbside pick up and it always went smoothly - no complaints. 12.29.22 - Given my past experiences with Nordstrom, I thought it was going to be super easy. I knew I was going to do curbside pick up ... I was just going to call and then someone was going to come out and bring me my order. However, I was wrong and VERY surprised. It was actually an extremely frustrating experience. I've never had an issue with Nordstrom before but they were probably busy. Long story short and I won't bore you with the in between details but I finally got my order like 30 minutes later. Not cool. Again, they were probably really busy but very unprofessional imo. I was on the phone waiting for someone to answer longer than I should have. I even called the Nordstrom number and spoke to an operator and he was super rude (again, very surprising) ... he literally just transferred me to the same number that it seemed, no one was answering. Anyways, when finally someone did answer ...I got my order shortly after. 1.4.23 - I was a little hesitant (just based off my previous experience) but I parked in one of the designated spots for curbside and called the number. Someone picked up right away and I got my order. I was literally there, in total for five minutes, maybe even less. It was amazing service and the employee was super sweet - this experience was more on par when I think about Nordstrom. I don't know what happened on 12/29/22 but my experience on 1/4/23 was a wonderful one.

My wife tried getting something from the La Prairie counter and Ariel was on her phone the whole time. Never bothered to look up despite how many times my wife has purchased things from her in past. The product is very expensive, you would thing she would be nice to the clients that are around her counter and lift her head up from texting or be smiling at customers trying to seem friendly

I recently visited Nordstrom at the Del Amo Fashion Center, and while I had a great shopping experience, I can't help but feel that the prices were a bit steep. That being said, the store itself was huge and well-organized, making it easy to find exactly what I was looking for. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I had no trouble getting assistance when I needed it. I was able to find a number of items that I loved, but the prices were definitely on the higher side. While I understand that Nordstrom is a high-end retailer, I can't help but feel that the prices were a bit steep for my beer budget.
