“I bought a buttload of t-shirts $800 @ blankshirts.com and I spent more buying directly from Los Angeles Apparel and Royal Apparel many of the brands I bought @ blankshirts.com are not worth mentioning! After a year of use the Next Level shirts held up better and were my favorites than all the other manufacturers: Los Angeles Apparel, Bella & Canvas, Royal Apparel. Kudos to the person responsible for quality control at Next Level!”

“I made a random stop at their Manhattan Beach store (just to window shop, really) and ended up scoring some caps at the bargain price of $4. I bought everything they had. (To giveaway and all...) Caught a movie across the way and thought I'd stop here to see if they had any and they did. Bought even more. I was with my Mom and found a few things she liked. We got in line to pay, and as always, cashier asked if I was making the purchase with my Old Navy card. I told them I didn't have one. She mentioned a promo and that I'd benefit whether I get approved or not. Eh, we had time. Why not. And it wasn't long before the whole thing was over: I was approved for so-and-so amount, so I asked her to charge everything on the card. I didn't realize how much I benefitted with applying: our $130+ purchase ended up going down to $50-something and change with the discount. Super score! So glad of the stop. I will be making more stops in the future for sure!”

“This store is our go-to destination for everyday essentials, offering superior quality and durability. In comparison to Old Navy, another brand under their umbrella that offers lower quality products, the difference is stark. The store boasts a wide selection and excellent size options, making it a one-stop shop for our family's needs. A clever hack I've discovered is to add items to your cart and wait a week - you might receive a discount coupon via email! Additionally, Gap Factory, another brand from the same parent company, offers similar Gap clothing at a slightly lower price point when purchased in-store. Always remember to check for coupons before shopping and look for gift cards on online marketplaces like Amazon for an easy 20% discount. Overall, this store offers great clothes and is an excellent choice for kids' apparel.”

“I just found out JC Penney offers free kid crafts! Took my kiddo here today, and she loved making a spring flower wreath. The craft even comes with a free coupon for shopping for today only. Too bad it was only grab-and-go, and there was no place to actually assemble the craft there. But we found a bench in the mall to sit and do our craft.”

“Perhaps there have been improvements made based on past reviews. The employees were engaging, courteous, and very helpful. This was our first time coming in. It was a good experience.”

“My sister helped me put together a good looking outfit from here. I love it so much that I wear it every day. My coworkers complain that I need to change up my outfit at least a couple of the days of the week but why fix what isn't broken.

Their slim fit styles are form fitting for those who struggle with thinner frames. Plus options are generally on the more affordable side.”

“Cotton On Kids is not far from Cotton On, on the upper level near Macy's. Enter the mall by EMC / Brio Coastal Kitchen and take the escalator up. The front of the store is red and it literally just says KIDS. The "Cotton On" is in super fine print running up on the side of the K. I grew up on hand-me-downs and floor samples and I still never really buy clothes, but 2020 is my time to try something new. Having to procure a gift for a kid's birthday party, I decided to get some exercise and walk this mall rather than ordering stuff off Amazon or Target. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything worth buying from Macy's, Game Chest, Disney and Nordstrom's, and this store was my last stop before giving up and getting a gift card from Din Tai Fung nearby. There weren't any kids at this store, or anyone for that matter, which was perfect for someone like me who actually don't like kids. A gigantic VHS tape hung from the ceiling with the tape label "Rewind with Us." As a 80s/90s kid, this totally spoke to me, so I walked in and was thoroughly amused. There were t-shirts and hoodies with Snoop Dogg, Biggie, and Ice-T's smug mugs printed on them. I would have loved to wear these to school! I had so many questions though: Are little kids these days familiar with these fantastic rappers, enough to wear these hoodies out in public? Are parents bringing back these fine musical gems for their kids and expanding their vocabulary with colorful words? What a time to be alive! There were also Green Day, Guns n Roses, TNMT, FRIENDS, Metallica t-shirts sold, but Biggie would have been the one I picked out for my 12 year-old self. I ended up buying two pairs of leggings with floral prints, a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and another t-shirt with a leopard on it. Safe and boring but I don't want to be that adult being an adult bringing a case of beer for the guys, trying to be cool but end up totally not cool. These 4 items were all on sale and still rang up to $30+. A part of me was screaming inside: a case of Kona Brewing variety pack with 24 bottles is only $27 at Costco! The store was clean. All the t-shirts were folded nicely. Things that were supposed to be on hangers were nicely hung. They sold kids water bottles for $5 each and hair accessories were like $12 unless you buy 2 get the third free (kind of pricy). The sales rack was sparse but my understanding is that it's a part of a brand's image not to have a ton of stuff on sale. Fashion and the textiles industries are very wasteful when you consider the resources needed to turn cotton plants into clothing, and unsold items end up in landfills and a lot of clothing materials are not biodegradable. Anyway, shopping here was so much more pleasant than shopping at the mess that is at the department store not far away. I don't know anything about kids fashion but judging by its appearance, it seems like Cotton On Kids is cool. They don't do gift boxes or tissue paper but they offer gift receipts and brown paper bags. Cotton On Kids isn't cheap, which is a good thing because cheap clothes means sweatshops. It's 2020 and we really should care about the impact of things on the environment and care for each other. Say no to the exploitation of other human beings to save a few bucks!. This is why I can't shop at Amazon and thinking back, it's a good thing I wore a lot of second-hand stuff growing up. Still wish I had that Biggie hoodie back in the day though.”
