Ran into MTVJack here working at the counter in a cheap spiderman suit. He told me that he lost his dl after 3 dui and this guy still not sober. Another customer started to shoplift and he donned his spider man mask and confronted the robber but missed him and destroyed a table with merchantdise on. What a poor dude. Felt bad for him. Hope he get back to his former glory.>> Most likely his pilot didn't air. His acting was very good but I didn't feel the taping came out funny enough to be picked up by networks.

Comic Cult is a shop that attracts some of the most serious comic readers in the Los Angeles South Bay. People, guys and gals alike, shop for their favorite books and collectibles on a weekly basis. On Wednesdays, when the newest books are released, you can run into some of the most informed readers and collectors I have ever met. And, I’ve been reading science fiction books and comics since 1960.The guys behind the counter; Tony and Steve are Sooooo knowledgeable about sci-fi books, movies, action figures and collectibles. At any time you can hear their conversations with other customers about where stories, movies and items began and where they’re going. If you have an interest in certain subject matter and items, they can lead you in the right direction and order almost anything that you want. If you’ve never been there, you’re missing out on a real great place to find what you’re looking for and, other serious collectors.Tell them Gary sent you. Maybe, I’ll get a freebie.

Went here as a kid maybe 20+ years ago. The place hasn't changed much. Great comic books and collectibles very helpful staff. Worth going and getting the kids into the hobby.

Great little comic book shop that has enthusiastic owners and employees. I go there to stock up once every couple of months, and every time, the shop is friendly and quick to help with anything and will have a 20 min convo regardless of the sale. Great place love the passion.

Went to the Comic Cult yesterday and did some digging, found a few comics, and had a welcoming vibe from one of the owners named Tony. Will definitely be going back here. Tony said they also do CGC grading submissions for anybody who is interested. Go check them out!

A friend of my son said there was a sale on Batman stuff so we came in to check it out. I used to frequent this store when I was a kid back in the 90s. Theres new management but the actual store feels just like it did back then. I love the decor and the layout of the store. Everything was very easy to find, the cashier was very helpful with his suggestions on what my son should start reading, and I also couldnt control myself from picking up a trade paperback for myself. I believe they also send in comics to be graded and put inside a slab for protection. The comic bins had a good selection and if you can't find a missing issue, you can ask them to source/order one for you too. There aren't many comic book stores left due to everything going digital. Please!! Lets support the local comic book store. Nothing beats reading a physical comic book. We walked out with $200 worth if comics today and smiles on our faces. My son's first visit to a comic book store is memorable not only for me, but for him. We'll be back for sure

Dope comic shop with even doper comic pressers. You have to check them out. They come through there every six weeks to take in new books and drop of the pressed ones.
