Ginger guy with curly hair and glasses was being rude to me. Went in to buy a baseball bat and it was all going smoothly, he got it for me and asked if i wanted to try it out at their indoor batting cage. I said sure and he took me over there and I was taking small unserious little swings because i was just getting a feel for the bat. He then proceeds to ask me "have you ever actually played baseball" and laughs. Overall situation made me feel very uncomfortable.

Not enough checkout people. Was told they had what I needed when I called. Came in and they took about 30 minutes telling me they didn't have what I needed to en round them in the backs. Frustrating experience.

I'm fairly new to Dick's. I made some recent purchases using a gift card from Xmas. Ordered online and made some returns because what I received didn't meet my expectations. Several returns ensued, each time resulting in another gift card and another online order. All the returns were handled expeditiously with another gift card for the credit card. The shipping was fast and free because I reached the threshold of $49. I would have given 5-stars if the sizing described had been more accurate.

Girl with reddish hair at the cash register is extremely rude. She might have been a lead training the other new employees at the registers. She didn't know basic CA law about the minimum threshold amount allowing customers to cash out a gift certificate ($10 and below). That's not the problem, and I didn't mind she was unaware. The problem was her attitude. She seemed annoyed that I was aware of the law and that she had to ask her supervisor for advice. She gave me the remaining amount in cash begrudgingly, seemingly annoyed without another word. Why does this Dick's location always have the saltiest group of employees? I never experience this kind of service at Big 5 or other mom-and-pop sporting goods shops. Issue seems to be management at this location -- poor hiring and even worse training. If employees don't want to work or do what is part of their job then they should reconsider working elsewhere.

I went to Dodgers Stadium to buy an Otani jersey. It was out of stock so I was wondering if there was a store nearby.I went there and it was there so I bought it right away. There are a lot of employees, but there is only one person at the counter. It took too much time to calculate.

I would give it a one star if it let me, There was a older guy working there with glasses and earrings that stopped me when i was using the scooter to get around, i hurt my knee playing soccer and needed it and he proceeds to get in front of me very hostile about it and tells me you can't be playing around on it (which i wasn't) and tells me wheres your handicap card demanding me in order to use the shopping scooter and well i got off it since i didn't, Theres many ways you can come up to a person and being aggressive isn't one......

This store will having you waiting 20+ minutes for your curbside order without telling you they are severely understaffed!!! Don't have me wait in my car for 20 minutes saying oh it'll be like 5 more minutes instead of being transparent. Then I tell the manager and he's like oh it's only 2 people working. Ok well including you Big Ed that makes 3 so get ur big butt down that escalator and start passing out orders beloved.

Always wonderful service here! Last night both Ed and George were so helpful, patient and professional! Finding the correct size for a bike is tricky, even with a sizing chart! But they were both just wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Soccer cleats started at $199.96. The only ones on sale were too far (over 45 minutes away, they had one in my size in stock), and Victorville.

Except for the corporate office political views, exorbitant high prices, and limited selections, it might just be another sporting goods store.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I got very lost on my way around and everyone asked if I needed help. Didn’t have what I was looking for but was able to get info on where to find it at another store.

BEWARE OF PRICE GOUGING We purchased 1 sweater that had a price tag of $60. We didn't notice until walking out the doors that they charged us $65 instead, plus tax. We went back to have it fixed and thankfully they did honor it, but what if we didn't notice? $5 charged extra per sweater x how many people purchase it is very shady. How many other items are being overcharged at checkout?

Went last night looking for a LA Sparks t shirt for my wife. I checked online first to make sure in was in stock at that store. Walked in and found every other team has its own section but no sparks gear near them. I asked an employee for help and to quote her "in the year that I've been working at this store we have never stocked any Sparks gear. I've never seen it." So we start walking out disappointed. As we turn a corner we run into three racks and 2 shelves full of Sparks tshirts, hoodies, caps and jerseys. Not a huge selection but definitely enough to notice. Wow, no Sparks gear at all? Lol

Store is cool. The staff and cashier was not polite at all. Tried to buy something and offered to walk upstairs to take a pic of the price etc. she was being rude so I didn't buy anything and won't go back either. I went upstairs to take a pic of the item and price and showed it to her before I left just so she knows add still attitude. If don't like your job then don't do it. There was only two at register and it was the Hispanic girl. If you want something go to big 5 sporting goods. Or Amazon if you can wait for delivery. Just missed out on couple hundred dollars and a customer. Two stars cause the store itself is decent as far as room and comfort. But everything you get there you can get at another sporting goods store or online without the rudeness of the cashier or staff
