The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Totally rude guy today. He did not want to help us with any of our questions and tried to get us out of the store as quickly as possible. We will never come back to this store and we will definitely be spreading the word. We came in to spend some good money on some gifts for our sons 10th birthday. Game Stop lost a good sale today on a rainy day when there wasn't 1 person in the store. Never going back and that guy should be fired.

GameStop is one of my favorite video game stores, and I visit this location in Torrance frequently when I am going to work.The staff here is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the latest Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo video game releases., the selection is great, and I always walk out of here with a new video game.I was recently able to trade in my old Nintendo Switch and upgrade it to the new Switch for my kids and the staff was able to give me a great deal so, I could upgrade my system.I always get great service at this location. You guys rock, keep up the great work!

So I come to this GameStop somewhat frequently as it is the one closest to my house and after several unpleasant experiences I’m finally over it. It’s so unfortunate that the store closest to me has the worst customer service from one specific employee named John a guy with longer tied up dark hair. I hesitate going to this store because it seems every time I walk in I’m pressured to buy something and get out quickly. From the moment I walked in this time he barked and me asking what I was looking for. I told him the game, he confirmed the price but did not ask me anything afterward just sent me to look at the rest of the games along on the wall. I assumed they just had it so proceeded to browse the games for fun. When it was my turn to pay he immediately asked for my number not even acknowledging my previous inquiry about the game or even a “hello” “thanks for waiting”. Then I realized he had pulled it out without confirming that he had it. He then pressured me into getting a pro membership with a really pushy attitude. I paid for the game and left. It’s like every time I go in there I’m met with a rude attitude even when sometimes I’d just like to browse what they have. Most times I go, John is there but when he isn’t it’s a much more pleasant experience. I don’t think anyone likes to be pressured while they are shopping but this guy does it every time. I’ve gotten to the point where I just order on Amazon because something as simple as shopping for a video game feels so hostile. I really hope this guy changes his attitude and works on his customer service because I feel bad that customers have to deal with employees like that. The downside of all of this is that it’s actually a nice clean store in a nice shopping center. I just feel so uncomfortable when I go.

If I could this location 0 stars I would. I came to this GameStop to trade in some games and JOHNNY helped me out. He was extremely rude to me when he gave me my store credit. As he saw me returning to the cash register to redeem my store credit on a product, he turned his back on me, packed some things in a box, and walked slowly to the back when he could've just helped me out real quick so I could be on my way home. During my second interaction with him he was still very rude and after I paid for my item, he didn't even hand me what I paid for. I had to reach over and take it from the counter. Didn't even get a thank you or even eye contact from JOHNNY. This interaction was very disappointing. GameStop, if you're going to hire anyone in customer service you guys better make sure they provide customer service.

So the only reason why their rating is a 3 is because their system is always down. The phone line doesn't seem to work (I've tested in store) it's not them. Johnny and John are pretty helpful, and Sydney was great too. However, game-stops policies as a whole make this place a dubious endeavor sometimes. What I will say is, if you are friendly and are looking for help they generally are able to help you out Johnny is my go to person as he is always helpful and answers my questions. I have seen people acting stinky with them and take out their frustrations on them as if it were their will. Remember they are employees and need to follow protocol. I have had issues with return that aren't sealed and trying to get full refunds on unopened products all you really need to do is make sure that you ask all the questions you need to before you take your product home and you should be ok. (They need to focus on their internet/phones) Other than that I would say this location is a generally decent place.

They close at 9pm and i arrived at 835pm... I have no idea how long this been up. Now I can see why GameStops are in bankruptcy. I wanted to surprise my son with a video game and he is bummed out and is hoping he can srill get a game... I will still to online ordering like Amazon and target,because this is extremely unprofessional

I bought a Pokémon sealed product and asked the cashier if he could price match from their website and he told me no, then I asked to return my purchase and get a refund and he also told me no. He said that they don't price match and that they don't accept returns on Pokémon card products which is a huge lie, he lied to me and refused to give me my money back. He gave terrible customer service and is a liar!

Best customer service from Xavier! He explained to me several consoles I can use for my flight simulators and was took the time to explain each one!
