Arrived at 6:00 to try to donate something. Was turned away and told they stopped taking donations at 5:00 but nowhere on their website or on Google does it say that. One of the managers I talked to was really nice but the other one was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. It was a small couch and not a lot to donate. I just wasted 2 hours coming here for no reason

I recently purchased a patio set from Habitat for Humanity which I saw posted on their FB page. I immediately ran over, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Not only did they help me find a great deal on the set, but they also went above and beyond by assisting me in loading it into my car. They had some cute furniture pieces. Their customer service truly made my shopping experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Habitat for Humanity for their excellent service and quality products.

I can find the items that I’m looking for and great prices. I shop at the Torrance store. I almost forget the staff is the best. They all are helpful and courteous. They greet you by your name. Stop by and check it out. Remember by purchasing items here you are helping homes to be built.

Went today looking specifically for living room sectional furniture. Found myself speaking to Daniel who asked me to describe what I needed. He told me he had a couple that may fit my requirements. And sure enough I was sold on the one brought to the floor. It was a beautiful piece and the price was right for my budget. Daniel was very accommodating. In addition to being pleasant and professional. Am very grateful for the excellent service afforded to me not just from him but also from team members I interacted with.

Excellent place for donations or purchasing home goods. I've donated here a few times, and the employees are always helpful, especially Manny. Check it out for your gently used donation needs!

Love this organization but deeply disappointed with the donations department. Have been trying to get a few large pieces donated since our move and the few ladies I've spoken to in that department off & on over the past month or two are rude, condescending & not helpful at all. If they're annoyed with the work they do, then maybe find another job where customer service isn't your main job? I don't know. Just an idea. It makes the whole process frustrating.

Have been to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Glendale and I found this location on the small side with limited offerings. So glad to find that this Torrance branch is much bigger with a lot more merchandise... 4 stars!!!! Habitat for Humanity ReStore might just have that one of a kind and unique piece waiting for a new home. Have been on the lookout for an antique set of dining table and chairs, and although we haven't yet found what we're looking for at this location, it's always a trip worth making just to see what's available. There's always a good selection of living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture as well as decor type items. Moreover, there's often selection of new and probably surplus home supplies and furnishings. Have always found the prices bargain level, and there are also sales from time to time, typically around the holidays. It's also gratifying to know that proceeds go towards a really worth cause that is Habitat for Humanity.Be sure to check out the place often to see what unexpected treasures await your home. This branch has a huge parking lot so parking has never been issue for me. Staff has always been friendly, and have regularly witnessed them helping customers load their restored treasures into their cars. Hopefully they can help us soon with a dining table and chairs for our dining area pretty soon!

I went in there in a great mood with my beautiful daughter excited about furniture and thrilled with what I’d found and left in a huff because of how rude and disrespectful those people were.Multiple floor people told me I had three days to remove the pieces I bought and the manager Jesse, an actual villain, said I had to have them out by 630 that day, that they pay $20 per day to have things there. I said I don’t have a baby sitter and I can’t have my daughter in the car without a car seat, I pleaded that I only needed one more day and this dude walks away to the back with another dude who works there who I guess is his girlfriend because they could be heard giggling like school girls from the back office while listening to Katy Perry. Then the cashier Karina is crying about her mom being dead for 10 years and 11-7 is the anniversary and I said my mom has been dead 24 years, grief is something we all deal with instead of being friendly and understanding, compassionate and advocating, you refused to tell your manager that the floor guys said I had 3 days like I didn’t even exist or my part of the story didn’t matter, why am I going to be friendly and understanding towards you if you aren’t that way towards me. Now we are off on the wrong foot to the point where our shared experience doesn’t matter to either of us.There was no signage anywhere that said clearance pieces had to be out same day. Nothing I signed at the register when I paid for it. No refunds, nada, no flexibility. There’s nothing charitable about this place. I was prepared to let it go when one of my friends said she’d go get it and brought it back.I can’t tell you how glad I am that I didn’t have to deal with these folks again. Also there was a hamper there a Target one you get for less than $20 filled with loose hangers that they charged someone else $25 dollars for. The person who bought it forgot it and I said well if they don’t come back for it, can I buy it and they said yeah for $25. It’s obvious they “resell” things forfeited to drive up profits. What other reason is there to be that hard up?Do they hire ex cons to be the managers too? Jesse had the grossest demeanor of any manager I’ve interacted with. The best part of it all is that I was buying used children’s furniture for a toddler and it was the day after my birthday and seven days after her’s but guess what? You don’t see us crying about it.

I really love Habitat for Humanity, especially for their selection of furniture and household items. I bought a beautiful couch there for 200. It has a wide array of items and I shop there frequently and really enjoy the experience. There are several locations in Los Angeles and I prefer the Crenshaw location for its large warehouse style store.

The so called manager in this store is so rude dont post over phone payment if You are going not let people buy anything without having the person there ! First off if they work and can't go in of course the spouses should be to go . He was rude wouldn't let me talk and explained to at least I could have had my husband on the line to prove it was him . Straight up hung up before I could finish. It's a thrift store!

Very organized crew. Easy to arrange and confirmed our pick up of furniture via email. Driver called when they were 10 minutes away and took the pieces we had stunt them photos of on their website. They only take new or lightly used furniture and I'm glad someone will be able to use this set.
