I've been here a few times since moving to the South Bay in August. The mall is gorgeous and big but this Hollister location is a bit compact. I've noticed this with many of the stores here, they tend to run smaller than the same store in another mall. It can feel a bit cramped especially if it's busy.Today I went to return some pants that didn't fit. It was a bit complicated because I had previously exchanged them and the store was also very busy due to the holidays but the girl that helped me was super patient. When she needed the manager she didn't just call for her, she physically went and looked for her. The employees here GET THINGS DONE! The manager politely walked her through the process but they were only able to give me store credit (which was fine, they put in so much effort I really appreciated it).Before I left the register I asked if they had a certain style I had seen online in stock (I felt bad because they had already taken so much time with me) and the girl said let me check the back room for you. She didn't have any attitude or anything, even though there were so many people in line. I was impressed.She came back with the item and then asked if I'd like to try it on. I was like YES! She was so great. Whoever trains employees at this location deserves five stars. You have a great, hardworking team with lots of patience. Thank you for a great experience!

This store has a bit of flaws but I won't deny it has great clothing items. My daughter and I shop here from time to time because we love the pants and hoodies here. They are good quality and last a long time. The only downside is that sometimes the store is left pretty messy. There are items all over the place and there is no staff to be around. There were a few times where the staff was being rude to my daughter but it was this one girl. I forgot to ask for a name but I heard girl seemed like she didn't want to be there at all. It made me want to go to another location instead hopefully there it would be more under control.

Didn’t have great service the day I went. The price on the clearance tag didn't match the price they charged me so I wanted to get it fixed. I think the manager thought I swapped the tags with a different item and wouldn’t honor the tagged price, and treated me extremely rudely (not apologizing for the mix up, did not even look at the tag to compare the prices). Wordlessly gave me an extremely minor discount (I had to ask twice!) to cover half of the price difference.Next time I have a price I think is too good to be true, I’ll drag up the whole stock that ALSO HAD THE SAME DISCOUNT PRICE to make sure I get the correct price here.Other workers were extremely sweet and helpful, just a poor manager. Learn to correctly tag your items and stop treating your customers like s***.

Love hollister but disappointed today in my experience. Supervisor today did not honor clearance price tag and was rude, didn't apologize for the mix up, and didn't fully refund me the difference of the discounted price to what I was charged. Watch out when buying in store.

Hollister Torrance Del Amo. Had several bad customer services at this store. So, I decided to write about one too many bad experiences at this location, Enough is Enough! How did the manager on duty get the managerial position? It was not a busy evening in the store. We asked a (male) employee to open one of the doors to the dressing room close to where we were standing. He said, "the dressing room is on the other side. " My son followed him; I stayed behind to look around for about 5 minutes. I then walked over to the other side only to find my son waiting for one of the dressing rooms to become available. (2 dressing rooms were occupied) To make the story short, the male employee was called by one of the associates and left my son waiting. He never went back to help my son. The store was not busy for him to lose his concentration. If the manager gets easily disrupted; you do not deserve to be a manager Esteban. You chose to work in retail. Customers come first! Not a happy customer. Will NOT return to shop at this location. Attention District Manager. Funny to see one of the reviews posted, had the district manager's name and contact info written on the card. Per, Esteban who happened to answer the phone when I called to ask for a contact number or e-mail of the district manager said that it's "against company policy" to provide customers the name and contact information of its district manager. SMH

Bought one day and went to exchange for same shirt similar style for $10 off next day. They wouldn't even exchange it (same exact price) and charged me the extra $10 for the exchange! In this day and age- I'm shocked they even exist with their terrible service.

No sale in store. Staff not so approachable n welcoming anymore. Sale is buy 1 and get 50% on the next pair. Better to go to Outlets for serious shopping. Prices are on regular prices.

Idk who but there was this girl employee I think she was a manager who was so rude like I walked in and next thing you know I'm being STARED down like how a lion stalks it's prey. Like I felt like I was a little gazelle grazing on beautiful grass but I knew I was being stared down. Anyways went to check out and I was like how are you? As a retail employee myself I try to always show that I care. the employee ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! Outrageous. After she did that and offered me club cali or whatever it is, I declined promptly. I'll give my club cali loyalty membership to another hollister. I know how much loyalty means to companies, especially at these stores.

So this place always has the same style of clothes, but sometimes you are just looking for old style clothes so I get in, it was horrible the manager there was mean and rude and he treated the workers so bad in front of the costumers, I don't ever want to go back.
