Super awesome place, it's definitely more focused on larger pieces of wood and less on small projects, but the selection is incredible.

Lousy customer service.I wont be returning. basically, they ignored me. I asked for their help. I even stood in line at the counter and told him I needed help in the back. They ignored me. They greeted all the other customers they didn’t even greet me. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Great store and wonderful service. We purchased an elm wood slab and turned it into an entry way table. They have an awesome selection of woods and we plan to use them for future projects

I have been in a couple of times for the project I’m working on. I purchased today and had absolutely perfect, patient service from Fred. I’m new and trying to learn quickly and make good decisions about this project and he was really gracious with his time (I think he stayed almost an hour past when he was scheduled to leave to help me) and knowledge. It’s so different than going to a box store, not to mention that the quality was better for literally half the price. Highly recommend and I’ll be going back!

Best selection of wood in the South Bay, including lots of domestic and exotic species and a big selection of slabs. They usually have competitive prices, although not always the lowest, but they also usually have shorts available of some species for a discount. Good selection of plywood, trim/molding, and some reclaimed wood. They will do some cuts for you if needed to get your wood home. They stock a full range of finishes, as well as some power and hand tools.

A hidden wooden gem in the South Bay. The staff are knowledgeable and the store has what you are looking for even when you have no idea what it is you need for your project. Best selection of hardwoods including plywood that I have found.
