I love this market/restaurant. When you open the door the smell of the food is wonderful. They have a full market of international and fresh foods and some of the most delicious homemade Indian vegetarian dishes in the back. You can view many dishes behind the glass and also order more selections from the kitchen. When you try this place be sure to order some of the breads fresh baked for you and really delicious. They have a full sweets section too. I guess you can tell I eat here very often and have been for over 30 years. You will certainly love the great food and enjoy the casual homey atmosphere!!

Time someone told these people to stop with price gouging. The difference between Artesia and here is almost 40-60% depending on the product. Shameful. And, the food is nothing to be written home about anyways. Maybe time for competition in this area and get this place to learn humility.

The staff are as FOB and friendly as they come. The food is among the best Indian food in South Bay. For Indian goods, I look for 'wall of spice' in the foods. That wall is unique to Indian cusine. I've only found that wall here. And the dishes all taste distinct & different: really worth trying everything on menu. The combo is a good deal to try what they have available the day. Order the good spicy: medium is set for local tastes & could use a punch (if you can Janine it). There is negligible seating & they go brisk take out. There is fresh chai complimentary while you wait & a small shop shelves for spices, starches & miscellaneous items for sale too,

I ordered a two dish combo. The lady spoke really fast with a thick accent and I didn’t know what she was offering me. So I just went along with whatever. I recognized and ordered a cauliflower dish and eggplant dish along with some sides that are included. She didn’t seem very patient so I just figured I’d just muddle through it. I noticed that the first thing I ate was delicious but very salty. A decent amount of food for the price. It was Okay.Maybe go easy on the salt and learn some patience.

Awesome Indian store with great selection of snacks, teas, and other Indian items. They also have readymade food which is delicious, and the owners are so friendly. Come here next time you need a taste of India!

Owner is very rude and have an attitude of i dont care and who r u and why u r coming here.if U order food online and if he picks up plesse hang up as he will not let his cook know the order. we all order online for pick so it wil b ready by the time u reach there but this Human doesnt reposnd and take no action.but i must say rest of the worker are polite and always busy and even asked sorry for their owners behavior. For his charecter i am sure no one would be willing to give him respect.

I ordered a two dish combo. They weren't busy. The lady spoke really fast with a thick accent and I didn't know what she was offering me. So I just went along with whatever. I recognized and ordered a cauliflower dish and eggplant dish for my mains. There were some sides that are included. I just said yes. She didn't seem very patient so I figured I'd just muddle through it. I noticed that the first thing I ate was delicious, but very salty. A decent amount of food for the price. It was pretty good. Maybe go easy on the salt and learn some patience. The previous weekend, I called to ask if they had lotus seeds. She said yes. I drove over. But I couldn't find any. The food smelled wonderful. All employees we're working the hot food counter. I finally interrupted politely and asked where the lotus seeds were. I was told they didn't have any. Still I returned to try the food. My friend loves the samosas. I tried them years ago. Yum.

One of my favorite food places in LA. Fresh, reasonable, great customer service and feeds the heart and soul.

I love their food. The dosa masala is my favorite. Saag paneer is outstanding and all the vegetarian stuff is great. We are doing a kitchen remodel so this place is my go-to for takeout. The people are very nice although very busy and not overly helpful. I am very grateful for their food!! Makes me happy!!!

Good food but they got the orders mixed up. They have a lot of options for grocery but is lot more expensive then other Indian stores nearby.

Got simmer sauce, parathas and other haldiram products. They're straight up selling expired products. Some products were even more than 8 months expired already. Major health hazard

India Sweets and Grocery is a decent establishment offering a variety of Indian products and food items. While it serves its purpose as a grocery store, I found the overall experience to be average. The selection of products is satisfactory, covering a range of Indian spices, snacks, and other grocery items. However, the store lacks a certain ambiance or atmosphere that could enhance the shopping experience.

Has good stock of Indian groceries but a bit overpriced on a few items. They serve only veg food. Food is Ok. I won't say it's great. If you have no other option then go for it.
