Authentic Central American food. They only have refried black beans as an option. Decadent food and helpful service. Should definitely try it out.

Highly recommend this place. The ambiance is friendly with great service. The food is delicious. Loved the Cafe de Olla, also the pan dulce. I had the chapin breakfast and loved it. Was my first time here with family and great friends. Would definitely return.

I've been looking for a good pupusa place since my go to closed. I ordered the pupusa plate with beans and loroco... delicious. It took me a moment to get used to their salsa as it is more of a puree than the usual more liquid salsa but it was very good. I will come back soon to try some of their other veggie options.

I love this spot and the food is the best. But they need to up their game on service. I like the owners, so I'm being generous with the review BY NOT SHARING CERTAIN details of my experiences as a long term customer. We do keep coming back...

If you are craving some delicious pupusas, this is not the place to go. I don’t feel bad for leaving a 1 star review because these people do not feel bad for ripping off customers. I ordered Revueltas but they put more beans than anything and no signs of cheese. I had to add my own cheese (picture on the right) ?! Also, they have no flavor ! Restaurants should be proud of their food and what they offer customers, especially with everything costing more these days, it’s not fair to be getting ripped off. I provided a picture so you can see for yourself that they do not stuff these pupusas. They are thin as paper. We only ate here because we were in the area and wanted pupusas but never again.

Just WOW! Best papusas around! Everything about the food is fantastic. Build your own papusas is the way to go. Never eaten in, always had it to go. No issues with our food not being ready when we've gone to pick up. Highly recommend

Omg the revuelta pupusas used to be bomb now they're horrible filled with canned beans that's all you can taste and it was like $30 for 4. I wouldn't pay no more than $10 for that stuff. Would give no stars if possible. The beans literally taste like the rosaritos beans they add too much to the point all u can taste is beans and if they pride themselves in saying it's not canned then why does it taste like canned food? before it used to taste more like chicharrón. Not worth it. And let's not get into the gallina soup my mom ordered a few weeks ago and they just gave her the broth, like whaaaat? Lol they told her she has to say with everything when she orders or else she's paying $18 for just broth and saying it's her fault. When the description is literally there and what it comes with. It's insane the food ain't even that good for them to have those ridiculous prices. The bread that is sold at the bakery next door is good though pricey as well but worth it. They should stick to that only.

What a find! I first heard about their take-out tamales and bakery, which are both fabulous, but there is so much more to La Esperanza. On my first visit a few weeks ago I had the pupusa plate: One Revuelta (beans, chicharron and cheese) and one Chorizo and cheese and they were both delicious. Plate comes with rice and beans and includes Curtido (spicy slaw) and red hot sauce. A lot of food for a very reasonable price. I also had the Elote tamale with crema. One of the best corn tamales I've ever had. Last night I tired the Loroco and cheese pupusa and I have to say it was the best one so far. Also tried a Chuchito (Guatemalan tamale): full of pork and the warm tomato salsa was yummy. Service is impeccable and I even got a free appetizer both times (tortilla with the smoothest and most delicious black beans). I will coming here much more often, can't wait to try some other specialties on the menu.

Amazing! First time here and it did not disappoint. Great service, fantastic food, friendly staff and fun music. Had the chorizo puppusa and yucca fries and I could not stop smiling.
