Ordered food from here. They charged me double what the actual price on the label said. This place is sketchy. Not to mention the fish quality is garbage.

I always have the best experience when I come here. I drive an hour and a half to come get my sushi grade fish to make nigiri, rolls and poke bowls at home. I was coming home from work (lax) one day and noticed they had a Torrance location at Delano mall so I stopped in and wasn't a fan. Plus they were out of the tuna I wanted. So I called my favorite location in Costa Mesa to ask if they had any of the tuna I was looking for. I spoke to susayo? I don't know how to spell his name or not sure if I'm even have the right name but they would know who I'm talking about and he offered to set the last two pieces aside for me till I got there. Once I got there and asked for him, the guy and girl at the register let him know I was there and they were sooo sweet with a big smile. He had my fish ready and waiting for me and even went to the back to find me a better cut! He was awesome!

Great food court to try different Japanese cuisine. All the restaurants are pretty solid. My favorite is santouka and the udon spot. Definitely a good spot if your group can't decide on what they want.

This Mitsuwa is definitely the newest of all the other locations I've been to. It's clean and bright and just very new looking. I love that there are a bunch of food vendors in the same building so you can eat and go shopping to your hearts desire. It is always packed so definitely parking can be a pain but the lots are big so you just have to take your time and be patient. I'm not close by so unfortunately can't go as much as I would like but if you're in the area that's great for you.

Food court has so many authentic Japanese food options for a reasonable price. Ambiance is so nice and plenty of seating areas.

This is a great Japanese grocery market that has everything from sushi counter ready to go food to packaged foods from Japan and fresh produce. Look for the deals of the week, they are usually pretty good!

I love this location so much! We're not from the area, but one day we were visiting the beach and we wanted to have some Royce chocolate. Google map mentioned that it's inside this location, so when we got there, I was so surprised at how clean and inviting this place is. I've been to other Mitsuwa locations, but this one is definitely my favorite. It has a very nice, airy feel to it with lots of light. I also really love the fact that they have other stores inside the supermarket, and their food court looks so good! We didn't get a chance to try but we'll definitely be back to try it next time. I highly recommend!

When you say you're open until 5, don't be having a security person blocking the entrance at 4:30 clearly stating the bookstore is closed, which it wasn't. Plenty of time to get stuff at the bookstore, we were only there to make a reservation in the first place since it was along the way. Just admit your mistake and become a better person. That's what a child does, adults should practice.

My friends and I stopped by before leaving LA and it was a well-deserved treat. Great selection of fresh seafood/sashimi available + their food court had delicious and affordable options. I tried the lunch combo from the udon nook and was pleasantly surprised by the price for a kitsune udon, an okra tempura and a croquette. Also stopped by the matcha bar for a hojicha latte!

Stopped by on 10/28/23. This place is truly like a Japanese Costco - an amusement park where you just simply don't want to leave! I love this place - you can eat lunch inside and then go shop for groceries after. Located outside of the Del Amo Mall and very clean interiors.

I used to visit the old location and this place is still a pleasure to visit, and it was an outstanding experience. It is located in Del Amo Mall now and parking right in front is 60-90 minute spots for free. It can usually be a little to difficult to find parking depending on what time of day you go. Weekdays are the best to come here. They also have a great food court too with every option being a good choice. As well as different vendors that make coming here so fun! The store's atmosphere immerses you in Japanese culture with soothing music and a wide range of authentic products. From fresh sushi-grade fish to a vast selection of sake and unique snacks, they have it all. Everything is organized perfectly. I visited to get ingredients to make spam musubi and they had a whole area dedicated to everything you need to make it which was so convenient for me. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine or simply curious about it, this grocery store is a treasure trove of quality items and a must-visit destination here in Torrance.
