Dear PetSmart Management,
I am writing to report a deeply disturbing incident of animal cruelty that I witnessed at your Torrance location on Pacific Coast Highway.
While I was at the store, an unleashed husky puppy ran up to greet me. Shortly after, a woman grabbed the puppy very aggressively by the scruff, causing it to cry out. Following this, the man she was with proceeded to choke the puppy and yell at it. When I confronted them and stated that their actions were wrong and that the authorities should be called, the man began yelling at me.
This was a horrific experience, and I am incredibly shaken by what I saw. I urge you to review your security camera footage from today to identify these individuals, as this incident needs to be reported to the authorities immediately.”

“Got a new dog that day and needed a lot of food items. Miranda was wonderful: I wanted a LID bag of kibbles and Miranda took the time to research the brands that were available in the store. A few more requests and Miranda got freeze dried sardines, fresh/raw food, bone broth and a Kong toy. All this was done so fast and easy and I appreciated Miranda's knowledge and professionalism throughout.

“Excellent selection for pets, even have some stuff for chinchillas. Ever since my dog unfortunately lost some teeth, he needs to stick to “mushy” food. Thank the Lord his place has that yet serve his dietary needs. 11 years old Malti-Poo still going strong.”
“I had a different pet store i would frequent but quality dropped so im in search for a good pet store. Came in today looking for some dog food for a picky eater young lady working the front (glasses w pink hair (didnt catch her name :( wouldve shouted her put personally)) was so helpful and informative she provided me with some samples to tryout. Will definitely be coming here more often”

“I used to be a dog groomer, so I know that there are a lot of frustrated, short tempered dog groomers out there unfortunately. The groomers at petite tails are so gentle and good at what they do. They have the perfect standard cuts and fusion styles.
I still groom my own dog to save money, but I am alway lazy on nail trims, so I bring them in to the sweet groomers at petite. There are alway dogs with the most perfect Asian fusion cuts in the waiting area. Their scissor work is perfection and they have the awards to prove it.
The prices are pretty good too if you are used to paying to get your dog groomed.
If you have a small dog, I could not recommend them enough.”
“Ok there are a couple of people at this location I feel need recognition. First up is groomer Brenda. She is very nice, very gentle with my puppy 7 month chow chow puppy Leo. He absolutely loves her. He always looks for her at her location when he has training there. The other person that deserves recognition is Hector the trainer. Hector is very knowledgeable about his job and has patience in training my chow chow since this breed can be stubborn at times. Leo loves these 2 people at Petsmart. If anyone ever needs their pet groomed or need training these 2 are very good at their jobs.”
“We recently left our dog for an extended stay in the Pethotel. Little anxious to be leaving her longer than normal and we would be out of country. Steve assured us our dog would be in good hands. He was right and he provided us with an update on our dog on numerous occasions. Bravo Steve and the rest of the hotel crew!! We will gladly leave our dog in their care again.”

“Centinela is the only place where I purchase all my pets needs. They have high quality food and offer great deals. Make sure to sign up to their email listing to receive notifications when they have sales. However, this particular location is by far my favorite. Every time I walk in the employees there are ready to offer help and are not pushy at all. They are always looking for ways to help you save and are very knowledgeable if you have a question. One employee in particular, Raymond, is absolutely awesome. His customer service skills are excellent and deserves recognition. He always greets you with an excellent smile and is eager to help. Employees like him make me want to keep coming back and be a loyal customer. I highly recommend shopping here.”
