Tire Service center has a friendly, respectful and listening staff. I don't try to tell folks how to do thier job, but I have a Rivian R1T, so I showed them the jack points and equipment and they ran with it. Made my Saturday morning tire repair and reinstallation a breeze now I have the rest of the day to do as I please. Major shoutouts to Grace and Angel who helped me. They are 5 stars each!!!

This Sam's club is very discriminatory in their delivery service. I placed an order last night. Received an email that the order was picked up and out for delivery which was 12-2 pm. The driver took my order back and no one notified me. I contacted Sam's and the rescheduled the delivery for 4-6pm and guess what, yes it was picked up but still no delivery to me. I have ring cameras and have been home all day. They have no excuse as to why the drivers keep bringing the delivery back. However it's very apparent that their drivers are not willing to deliver to areas of Gardena but will deliver to torrance only.I called the store multiple times with no answer at member services. Then called again at 5:54 pm back to back no answer. So who answers phones at Sam's and where is the customer service when you pay for a delivery order and add tip

The location in Torrance is perfect. It is clean often well stock. The Scan n Go app makes the grocery shopping experience very convenient.

I go to Sam's Club in Torrance at least once a week for my regular items. I have the Plus membership, where I can do free pickups, free shipping, as well as go into the store from 8:00 am (early hours) to avoid the crowds. It is SO worth it to have this if you're always in a hurry. They recently upgraded their produce, deli, and dairy sections. I like their workout clothes, yogurt, nuts, medicines, supplements, produce, tissue, paper towels, TP, and cleaning supplies. You can do self checkout or you can use their app to scan your groceries, this speeds things up to the point that you go through there as fast as you want! The only thing I would say to be careful of is if you buy gift cards- I recently experienced an issue with some Starbucks cards that took a lot of effort to resolve. Thanks to the Customer Service team, it got resolved, but I found out that when you go through the line and buy gift cards, your receipt must say at the top "gift cards activated". If it does not say that, they are not activated, and you will get stuck in a circle of blame between the company and Sam's Club. It was hard for them to resolve because there's no 'correct' way to fix this issue other than to tell the customer to take a hike! So make sure that your cards are activated prior to leaving the store or you may have no recourse! Word to the wise.Sams is so much better than Costco as far as lines, not being as crowded, not having an insane parking lot, things being in order.

This is one of my favorite Sam's club. This store is always clean and perfect for shopping. This store is seldom crowded. The employees are always ready to assist. The shelves are normally stocked. The prices are usually great. I can find all that I need at this location.

The staff is so hostile, like they don't get paid to do their job. If the hot dog was not so good, i wouldn't come back for anything. Also the drink dispenser was having trouble for so long and they do not even bother to fix it. Today was the worst, they don't give discounts for hot dog combo without drink. Service slow and frustrating. Don't recommend this place.

Meet Sherry! She is a Hero!!! She is also a baker at Sam's Club located in Torrance at 2601 Skypark Drive. Yesterday, I delivered 90 red, yellow and green cupcakes and a chocolate cake with red, black and green frosting made from scratch by Jesse D. Gibson, to Angeles House for their Black History Month celebration. In the process of setting up, the red cupcakes were accidentally dropped on the floor. All of them were ruined. I went to find replacements. When I went to the Sam's Club in Carson, they did not have any red cupcakes available, and they had no baker to frost them. Jesus, the assistant manager of the Carson store, called the other locations to see if anyone had red cupcakes. I called the Sam's Club in Torrance and spoke to Sherry in the Bakery Department. I told her what had happened and she immediately asked me how many cupcakes I needed. I told her I needed 30 red cupcakes and she did not hesitate before cheerfully saying, "I can definitely do that for you." I thanked her profusely and drove over to the Sam's Club in Torrance. Before I left, Jesus not only credited me for the 30 cupcakes, but for all 90 of the cupcakes. That is excellent customer service! When I arrived at the Torrance Sam's Club, I went to the bakery and asked for Sherry. She stopped what she was doing and picked up my freshly baked cupcakes and brought them to me with a big, friendly smile. I was so grateful for her, and then she said, "There is no charge for these cupcakes!"Thank you Sherry for saving the day!! I am now the proud owner of a Sam's Club membership because of YOU. #samsclub #samsclubbakery

My day started off hellish in-part due to the inaction of sams club gardena. They canceled an order 30min before i was scheduled to pick it up. I placed the order two days in advance so i was so pissed off. I called torrance bakery to see if they could fullfiill my 150bulk cupcake order a little before 1pm. They said yes. I scheduled the pick up thru the app for 5pm5:01 hits and i get a cancellation email from Torrance sams. Since i was already in the parking lot i went inside to inquiry what happened. A gentleman in the bakery said they couldn't sell me the box because they arent able to scan it. He referred my to manager vanessa for further assistance. She told me to try again at checkout. Same thing, unable to scan so she did what I thought they could've done from the very beginning. Enter the item number manually. And guess what. It worked. I spent 4 hours in a state of anxiousness but it paid off because Torrance sams actually made an effort to assist me. Thank you vanessa and your team members for exhausting more options

I typically don't review grocery stores and such, but I might as well since it's a common place people go. This Sam's is right next to Costco. I bought a membership from here off of Groupon a couple years ago because I basically got the membership free since they gave me a coupon to shop for about the same amount. This places isn't as big nor does it have as many items as Costco. Some people say Costco is cheaper. I thing they both balance out. Some things are cheaper and some are not. What I like about this place is that it doesn't get nearly as crowded. Also, if you're smartphone savvy, or just know about apps and how to scan and use your credit card, they have the Scan n Go feature which to me is a huge plus and time saver. You download the Sam's club app, scan your items and pay with your credit card. So convenient! I often start scanning as I get towards the end of my shopping so that I'll be ready to go when i head back to the front. They even have the option to add to your purchase if you've already paid!So yeah...maybe you get more selection at Costco, but who likes to struggle to find parking and be surrounded by large amounts of people on the weekend? Not me!So my tip is: go on Groupon. Buy the membership for cheap and get credit to purchase necessities. I think one of the Groupons will even give you a free apple pie. Try it for a year. If you don't like it, cancel your membership!

But the lady kept going give her a raise and assistance. i raised my review because the finally gave her help but they need a more permanent solution

I started coming here after the crowds at Costco and parking lot became too insane. I have both memberships but actually have found that Sam's Club has items almost 2 dollars less than Costco. And then when you buy in bulk and ends up actually saving you quite a bit plus you don't have to deal with the larger crowds. I also really like their buy and scan app, so you scan your items as you shop , pay for them and leave it's so easily inconvenient but it's a must do now with our busy lifestyles.

Worst food service. The line to get just a simple hot dog are huge with about 45min wait.... Also, what is the point of re-scanning your entire shopping cart upon exiting???? The lines to just get out of the store are huge and so freaking slow.. I will say it once again and again, COSTCO is better on everything. Including the cost of the food.

Bought a 55" Samsung TV here in June. Took it home and it was DOA - the remote control didn't work so you couldn't set up the TV. Took it back a couple of hours later for a refund but they declined to refund the $6 E-Waste fee saying it was a CA State fee and there was nothing they can do to refund it. Shouldn't Sam's Club and/or Samsung be responsible for paying the E-Waste fee on an out-of-the-box broken electronic device? It isn't like I got to keep it and get any use out of it. Seems like a pretty short sighted way to reward a Plus membership......

This is a duplicate review from the location in Gardena since I had to go to that location as well as the Torrance location to remedy my issue. I went to this location to return a pair of sunglasses I had purchased at another location. I waited in the customer service line only to be told that I had to go to the optometry dept which was fine. Except this location didn't have an optometry dept. Which blew my mind that not all sam's clubs offer the same services. Also why didn't the customer service rep inform me that there was not an optometry dept at this location before I walked all over the store looking for that dept. Then I looked online saw the Torrance location had an optometry dept and headed there. I went in and was told they weren't open yet just yet. Why would you open the store and not all the services inside. It was 5 minutes before they open and the associates couldn't have just processed my return. Instead they went back to sitting down and socializing. Furthermore, the entrance and exit is an afterthought. There is only one exit at this location and it Is right near the gas station so trying to get in and out is maddening. At the other big box competitor warehouse, none of these experiences would have transpired. Their employees go above and beyond and their employees are more knowledgeable about the services that are available in the store. And their gas station at the peak times has an employee that has coned off areas to better the flow of traffic
